Michael JacksonMichael Jackson Statement Regarding The Tsunami. 04-01-'05

On behalf of his family and himself, Michael Jackson releases a statement concerning the 9.1 Mw undersea megathrust earthquake and tsunami disaster which occurred on December 26th, 2004, affecting Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and Maldives and killing over 230,000 people from fourteen countries.

My family and I would like to send our prayers and heartfelt sympathy to the families, friends and loved ones of those who recently perished from the horrific earthquake and tsunami, which swept through Indonesia, Asia, India, Somalia and other countries.

Our love is also being sent to those who have miraculously survived this tragedy and to those who are so courageously on-site, helping to spearhead the relief efforts. We pray for your strength, your safety and the success of your life-saving missions of love.

Words cannot adequately express the shock, horror and grief we’ve felt, while watching news reports which have captured the massive devastation and despair. It has been especially painful for me, as I have visited these areas many times and I remember the love, kindness and warmth of the people I met there.

I would like to encourage all of my friends, and fans, to contribute to agencies and organizations assisting in these efforts. In times like these, we need each other... we must bond together in spirit and in service.

God Bless.
Sincerely,

Michael Jackson

Wedding RingJackson's Ex-Wife To Sell Wedding Ring On Ebay. 04-01-'05

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe is reportedly selling her wedding ring on website Ebay.

Rowe plans to hold the internet auction when the troubled superstar stands trial over child abuse allegations - in a bid to exacerbate his stress as she fights a custody battle over access to their children, Prince Michael, seven, and Paris, six.

Jackson bought Rowe the 2.13-carat diamond round-cut in Sydney, Australia, and gave it to her on the day before their three-year marriage began on 13 November 1996.

American gossip columnist Roger Friedman writes, "The decision to sell the ring came as Rowe's expenses continue to rise."

Jackson's Accuser Caught Up In Alleged Charity Scam. 03-01-'05

Prosecutors hoping to send Michael Jackson to jail have been dealt another blow to their case - the mother of the pop star's child molestation accuser has allegedly been using her son's cancer to get money.

American TV scandal show Celebrity Justice reports the mother solicited charitable contributions for the boy's medical care when all of the bills were covered by insurance.

The information comes from an extensive investigation by California local newspaper the Mid Valley News.

Editor Connie Keenan, who ran an article on the family, tells Celebrity Justice, "My readers were used. My staff was used. It's sickening."

The editor says the boy's mother approached a reporter for the paper in 2000 and explained her son was battling cancer.

Keenan adds, "She pleaded her case that her son needed all sorts of medical care and they had no financial means to provide it."

The community paper agreed to run a story soliciting donations. Keenan now admits she regrets the decision: "She's a shark. She was after money."

Celebrity Justice reporters have learned the boy's medical expenses were fully covered by his father's insurance plan.

Keenan recalls the mother called to demand another story after she was unimpressed when Mid Valley News readers raised over $900 in three weeks. The editor decided not to run a second article.

Jackson's Ex-Wife Debbie Rowe 'Threatens To Testify Against Him'. 02-01-'05

Debbie RoweMichael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe is reportedly so furious the troubled singer is withholding her alimony payments - she's considering testifying against him at his child molestation court case, reports British newspaper the Daily Star.

Michael faces 10 charges relating to claims he sexually abused a teenage boy at his Neverland Ranch home.

And Rowe has threatened to reveal intimate secrets about Jackson which could jeopardise his case, unless he agrees to pay her annual $1 million alimony. She is also considering fighting for sole custody of their children, Prince Michael, seven, and Paris, six

A source says, "She has indicated to District Attorney Tom Sneddon she may now be ready to give evidence for the prosecution.

"Jackson must be trembling at that prospect. If anyone knows his bedroom secrets, it's Debbie.

"Her testimony could be dynamite. He just won't know what to expect from her."
