Diana DimondDiane Dimond On Jackson's Witness List In Lawsuit. 31-05-'06

Michael Jackson never had much use in the past for TV reporters Diane Dimond and Harvey Levin. She, from "Hard Copy" and Court TV days, has hounded him and even written a book about him. Levin, the creator of the defunct "Celebrity Justice," has boundless energy when it comes to revealing Jackson's foibles.

So both of them will be mighty surprised to find out they are on Jackson's witness list for his lawsuit with Marc Schaffel. The case, in which Schaffel claims that Jackson owes him $4 million, is set to commence in Los Angeles on June 19. The witness list was set to be filed today.

Also on Jackson's list: sometime and former lawyer Brian Oxman and Jackson's accountant Alan Whitman. Not on Jackson's list: former business advisor Alvin Malnik or Jackson's assistant Evvy Tavasci. Those names may actually turn up on Schaffel's list.

Dimond and Levin would be subpoenaed by Jackson not for personal knowledge of Schaffel, but to share their reports that he is a producer of gay porn. What bearing that would have on how much Jackson owes Schaffel is questionable at best.
Jackson is also on his own defense witness list but it's unlikely he will appear.

Jackson is said to be so afraid that the Santa Barbara District Attorney's office will arrest him on some new charges — any new charges — that he's determined to stay away. Instead, his lawyers will show jurors videotaped deposition.

Elizabeth TaylorElizabeth Taylor: 'I Don't Blame Jackson For Leaving The Us'. 31-05-'06

Movie legend Dame Elizabeth Taylor fears her friend Michael Jackson will never return to the US after he was acquitted of child molestation last year (05).

Taylor was one of Jackson's many supporters as he fought accusations against him and has stayed in contact with him ever since. Now living in the Middle East, Jackson is reportedly on the verge of selling his famous Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, and making plans to make a permanent home out of America - and Taylor doesn't blame him.

She says, "Well really, why should he (return to the US). He's been treated like dirt." Speaking to him recently, Taylor believes Jackson may return to live shows in Europe, but she fears he'll never perform in America again.

Michael JacksonMichael Still In Japan. 30-05-'06

Michael Jackson caused another crowd panic in Japan when he decided to try his hand at pachinko Monday night (May 29). Pachinko is an unique Japanese game, which combines pinball with the gambling of slot machines.

Michael had the "Maruhan" pachinko parlor in Shibuya all to himself after it closed at 11 pm and he was seen to wildly enjoy the game. However, a crowd quickly gathered outside and the police were called in to keep order.

Earlier in the evening, Michael held a private party at an exclusive French restaurant in Aoyama. About 100 people were in attendance, including the Kano Sisters, former X Japan member Yoshiki (40), and actress Mizuki Arisa (29).

MMichael Jackson is still in Tokyo. There have been reports that he might be appearing in the TV program 'SMAP SMAP' hosted by a group called SMAP. The program is extremely popular in Japan and earns more than 20% viewing rate every week. He would join the list of Madonna, Will Smith, Janet Jackson, Jean Leno, Destiny's Child, and Lenny Kravitz - all of them already appeared in this show.

Yesterday, Michael went to the Tokyo Disneyland. Among other attractions, he enjoyed 'Pooh's Honey Hunt,' 'Peter Pan's Flight,' and 'Pirates of the Carribian'.

Michael Jackson visits Tokyo OrphanageMichael Jackson Visits Tokyo Children's Home. 28-05-'06

Michael Jackson visited an orphanage in Tokyo in one of the pop star's first public appearances since his acquittal last June (05) on child molestation charges in the United States.

Pop star Michael Jackson visited a Tokyo children's home and told a group of 140 excited children "I love you" in Japanese.

The 47-year-old entertainer, who appeared in public on Saturday (May 27) for the first time since his acquittal on sex-abuse charges last year to receive a music award, was greeted by about 100 fans as he arrived in a black van.

Inside the Seibi Gakuen children's home, Jackson watched a 15-minute performance of traditional music and dance by children in kimonos before speaking briefly on stage. "I'm very happy to be here," said Jackson, wearing sunglasses and a white T-shirt under a black double-breasted suit with gold buttons and a single red armband. "I'm happy to be with you lovely people," he told an auditorium of 140 children, ages 2-18.

In Japanese, he said "Aishiteru," meaning I love you. Smiling, he later shook hands and signed autographs for the children, who called out "Michael, Michael" and tugged at his sleeve. "He is very tall and very cool-looking. I don't know his songs but I've seen him dance on television," Eiho Omori, 13, said.

Teachers at the children's home said they were surprised when they had heard Jackson would be visiting. "Everyone couldn't believe such a big international star was visiting us," said Kiyoko Mito, headmistress of the Christian-run school.

"The children only believed me after seeing the news yesterday that Michael Jackson was actually in Japan," she said.

Jackson's trip to Japan is the first in a series of planned visits to Asia. The star moved to Bahrain shortly after a jury cleared him last June of charges that he had sexually abused a young boy at his Neverland Valley Ranch in central California.

MJ Logo Auctioned. 25-05-'06

The 'MJ' logo has finally been auctioned in Frankfurt (Germany) on May 9 and went for the final bid of €15,100. The first auction of the logo at the end of April had to be repeated since the person making the final bid couldn't pay the money.

For Germany, the company MJ Entertainment, which is not connected with Michael Jackson himself, owned the usage rights for the 'MJ' logo. Due to insolvency of the company, creditors initiated the 'MJ' logo to be distained and requested it to be auctioned.

The logo went to the creditors who had initiated the auction, a company situated close to Frankfurt. Whenever Michael Jackson comes out with a new album or does another tour the company now has the rights to earn a lot of money by putting the logo on for example T-shirts or perfumes.

Michael Jackson Exclusive: The Man.. And The Mirror. 25-05-'06

Pop legend Michael Jackson meets our reporter Fiona Cummins and reveals he's going to live in the UK, and there's a new album in the pipeline.

The handshake is surprisingly firm - and the hug totally unexpected - as pop legend Michael Jackson grants me a private audience.

The singer was in buoyant mood yesterday (May 24) when we met at the London offices of Harrods, owned by his close pal Mohamed Al Fayed.

He swept in at 1.05pm without fanfare, no bodyguards, no entourage - and barely a trace of make-up.

It was his first face-to-face interview since being acquitted of child abuse last year - and I wasn't sure what to expect.

But Jackson - who has often given the impression that he prefers to keep people at arm's length - greeted me like an old friend.

Smiling broadly he held out his hand, then threw his arms around me, giving me a whiff of his sweet-smelling perfume.

Michael and Fiona Cummins
Michael Jackson was in the office of Mr Mohammed Al Fayed when he was approached for a brief chat with reporter Fiona Cummins of the Daily Mirror.

He looked totally different from the gaunt, hunched figure who emerged weighing just six stone at the end of his US trial last June.

And the 47-year-old star was more than happy to chat after finally emerging from his self-imposed exile in Bahrain.

He seemed relaxed as he talked about rebuilding his tarnished career and his plans to create a new Neverland - in Britain. He said: "I'm here in London on business for a couple of days. I love it here.

"I'm looking for a place to live. I've always liked the UK and I just love the fans here."

He grinned as he added: "I'm also visiting my good friend Mohamed - 'cos he's the man."

Jackson has lined up a series of business meetings in the UK and will be looking at a luxury properties in and around the capital.

He also plans to view places in Scotland and Ireland in a bid to re-create the funfair-style California ranch that was once his sanctuary.

Asked about his health, Jackson insisted: "I'm fine - very well thanks. I'm feeling good." He says he is also working on a new album - his first since 'Invincible' in 2001.

Then, with a gentle pat on the back, he said goodbye and we went our separate ways.

As I left to catch the Tube back to the office and he headed to his chauffeur-driven limo, I could still detect the faint aroma of his perfume on my hand.

And I think I may have witnessed the first tentative steps of Jackson's emergence from the shadows.

Debbie RoweDebbie Rowe Can Fight For Kid Custody. 25-05-'06

The California Supreme Court yesterday (May 24) shot down Michael Jackson’s claim to undisputed custody of his kids, and gave his ex-wife Debbie Rowe her best chance yet to win back little Prince Michael and Paris.

Without issuing any comment, the high court justices declined to hear Jackson’s appeal of a stunning Feb. 15 court ruling which reinstated parental rights that Rowe had signed away in October 2001.

“This is an excellent, although not surprising, development for Deborah,” her lawyer Eric George said. “This means she can proceed with her claims before the family court without any further delay.”

George declined to outline how he’ll seek legal enforcement against Jackson, who has been living with his three children in Bahrain ever since a Santa Barbara County jury cleared him of kiddie-sex charges last year.

Rowe is the mom of Prince Michael, 9, and Paris, 8.

Jackson has a third child, 4-year-old Prince Michael II.

A majority of the seven-member court refused to hear Jackson’s appeal.

Chief Justice Ronald George recused himself because he’s the father of Rowe’s lawyer.

Jackson’s lawyer could not be immediately reached for comment.

Although living a world away from California, Jackson can’t seem to shake his Golden State legal woes.

He endured eight grueling hours of depositions in London earlier this week at the hands of former business partner Marc Schaffel.

The one-time confidante is suing The King of Pop for more than $3 million in unpaid loans and fees.

That trial is set to begin on June 19 in Santa Monica, Calif.

While Jackson was compelled to give a deposition, the L.A. County judge in Schaffel’s lawsuit has no authority to order The Gloved One back to California for trial as long as he’s an overseas resident.

Jackson’s lawyer Thomas Mundell tore up a subpoena for Jackson in plain view of a videographer and court reporter documenting the deposition, witnesses said.

Tippi HedrenActress Tippi Hedren Rescues Jackson's Tigers. 22-05-'06

Actress Tippi Hedren has come to the rescue of pop star Michael Jackson's pet tigers who were left abandoned at his Neverland Ranch in California. The star of 'The Birds' - who is dedicated to saving large cats at her Shambala wildlife sanctuary - has adopted the animals because she couldn't bear to see them starved or abused.

A source tells US publication Globe, "When Michael couldn't find a buyer for them, he approached Tippi, begging her to take both the male and the female.

"Tippi couldn't bear the thought of these beautiful animals ending up in a tiny cage somewhere or - even worse, being mistreated or starved in a travelling sideshow. "Although Michael promised her he would be financially responsible for his two tigers, I don't think Tippi honestly believes she will see a penny."

The 76-year-old star, who is also the mother of actress Melanie Griffith, adopted the tigers after animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) broke the news of the deplorable conditions the animals were living under. The source adds, "Tippi has placed them in quarantine for this first month, ensuring they are in good health and their diet is monitored. "Once they've made this initial adjustment, they will be safely introduced to the rest of the pride."

Janet Arvizo'Janet Arvizo', Mother Of Accuser To Stand Trail. 20-05-'06

The mother of the teenager who accused Michael Jackson of sexual child molestation, was ordered to stand trial herself for welfare fraud, so the French press AFP has heard from judicial sources.

The 37 year old woman has to appear in Superior Court in Los Angeles on June 21st to hear read out the act of accusations.

Jackson was been accused by a then thirteen year old boy of sexual abuse. There came ten accusations against the American singer, centred around that abuse. After a process of months the jury acquitted Jackson of all charges.

During the process the defence battered constantly on the credibility and the love of money from the mother of the young accuser. The layers of Jackson kept on that she has got unjustly payments while she was living with a lot of money thanks to the generous hand of the super star who then was still living on his Neverland Ranch in California.

According to the defence of the singer/dancer the women raked in an indemnification of 150.000 dollar within the framework of an amicably in an other lawsuit. The crown witness in the "process of the century" has draw also between November 2001 and March 2003 some money around 18.000 dollar, a sum that the Public Prosecutor's Office has reduced to 8.000 dollar.

David GestDavid Gest To Reveal Jackson Sex Secrets. 19-05-'06

Liza Minnelli's ex-husband David Gest is to release an autobiography which promises to reveal secrets regarding Michael Jackson's sex life. Gest and Jackson were friends in their teens when they were growing up in Encino, California.

In the new book, the 53-year-old claims Jackson's father Joe paid a prostitute to have sex with his son and that the young star was once propositioned for sex by a male record executive.

Mark Bego, who is co-writing the book with Gest, tells US publication The National Enquirer, "Michael told David all about his sex life, and now David feels it is time to tell the world so the public can understand why Michael turned out the way he did."

Gest and Jackson have remained friends for more than three decades and the pop star even served as best man when Gest married Minnelli in 2002. Gest adds, "Michael has so many skeletons in his closet and David feels now is the time they should be aired."

GQ MagazineMichael Jackson Angry At GQ Magazine. 05-05-'06

In response to numerous inquiries, photographs which appear to be images of Michael Jackson in the May 2006 issue of GQ Magazine are not authentic.

In a statement released today, Jackson’s representative, Raymone K. Bain, said Jackson is “furious” about a series of photos featuring a Jackson impersonator in the magazine’s May issue, now on newsstands.

The photos accompany an article called “Where’s Michael?” which documents writer Devin Friedman’s quest to find Jackson in Bahrain, the Middle Eastern country where he lives.

In one photo, a Jackson look-alike sits in a darkened movie theater amid a row of children. Another photo shows him standing in the desert draped in a black cloak and headscarf, with his trademark glittery white glove.

Jim Nelson, GQ editor-in-chief, responded with a statement Friday: “It is very clear that the pictures in the story ... are satirical, whether it’s a picture of a Michael Jackson imitator sitting in a Bahraini cinema or an image of 'The Gloved One' standing flamboyantly in the desert.

“Mr. Jackson may feel that the person in the photographs is an ‘impostor,’ but he is merely an imitator,” said Nelson.

Jackson, 47, moved to the Gulf state soon after being acquitted of child molestation charges in California last year.
