Michael Jackson stopped at a Robertson Boulevard boutique in Los Angeles (USA) to shop, but for what?

He was at Off the Wall, the West Hollywood antique store that bears the same name as his 1979 album. An inside source tells E! News that he bought a Pan Am aluminium cast model airplane. The source says Michael was looking around at other items but only purchased the plane.

“It was a little difficult because people were pounding on doors and windows…so he was in and out pretty quick. The paparazzi were in hot pursuit of him.”
Despite the chaos going on outside, the source said Michael didn’t seem worried.

“He was great.”
As Michael was exiting the store, another eyewitness said that paparazzi and fans were everywhere.

“He came out and shielded himself with an umbrella at first,” says another eyewitness. “Once he got in his car, he cracked the window and reached out and started shaking people’s hands.”

Halloween Thriller Dancers. 12-10-'08

As usual at this time of the year, with Halloween just around the corner, again, as usual, people all over America and other parts of the world are training to attempt to break the performance record of Michael’s greatest epic, ‘Thriller’.

We are getting used to seeing people performing the dance at weddings, in parks, in shows, colleges and even in a Phillippino prison. This year is no exception, and adverts are appearing offering dance lessons based on the song, and also for volunteers to actually perform in record-breaking attempts.

In Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles, dancers are being invited to join their attempt at the record, and organisers expect around 100 people to attend. The Penobscot Bay YMCA are also asking people to join them as they try for the record. These three sites are just a fraction of the organisations who are paying homage to Michael’s ‘Ode To Halloween’.

There will probably be many more!

Michael And Kids At The Golden Apple Comic Book Store In LA. 09-10-'08

Not for the first time, Michael Jackson took his three children - Prince Michael, 11, Paris, ten, and Prince Michael II, six - shopping this week (October 7) dressed as masked Halloween characters.
And never one to be left out, Jackson in a surgical mask, giant black sunglasses and a hooded jumper.
The family, who are rarely seen in public, browsed a comic book store together after slipping in through a back door.

When Jackson turned 50 in August he said he likes nothing more than spending time with his children.

'I'm raising my children and enjoying it and teaching them to ride bicycles and how to read. I love it.'
The former child star also said his kids are enjoying freedom he never had at their age.

'I let them go to the arcade and go to the movies and do things.
'I want them to get to do the kind of things I didn't get to do,' he added.
The children removed their masked once inside the store, giving onlookers a rare glimpse at their faces.

Prince Michael wore cream shorts, white trainers and a black hooded jacket on the outing while sister Paris wore a red jumper, shirt and black trousers.

Their mother is Debbie Rowe, the 49-year-old nurse who Jackson married in 1997 but divorced in 1999.

She worked for the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon that Jackson used for his face-altering surgeries and was recently involved in a legal fight with the singer over child custody.

Jackson's third child Prince Michael II, pictured with long black hair, green pyjamas and a dark coat, was born to a surrogate mother.
