To commemorate the King of Pop, Italian footwear brand Giuseppe Zanotti honors Michael Jackson with a one-of-a-kind sneaker to be auctioned off in New York on November 9 and 10. Covered in 108 carats of black diamonds and 18 carats of rubies, the sneaker will be auctioned off by Julien’s Auctions Icons & Idols Auction with a starting bid of $15,000. Proceeds will benefit the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

Named the “Number One” shoe, Zanotti wanted to pay tribute to one of his favorite artists, who he created many custom pieces for over the course of Jackson’s five-decade-long career. While this will be the only sneaker covered in precious stones, there will be 1,999 pairs of limited-edition sneakers sold in Giuseppe Zanotti stores nationwide, as well as Neiman Marcus. Colored Swarovski crystals will take the place of diamonds and rubies, and the shoes will be available in black, white and silver. Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' Returns To Hot 100, Thanks To Halloween Gains. 06-11-'18

Thriller Album CoverMichael Jackson's horror pop classic 'Thriller' re-enters the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 31, thanks to its annual Halloween gains.

'Thriller' returns with 15,000 downloads sold, surging by 189 percent from the prior week, and 15.2 million U.S. streams, up 198 percent, in the week ending Nov. 1, according to Nielsen Music. The gains also help the song re-enter both the Digital Song Sales and Streaming Songs charts at No's. 11 and 30, respectively.

'Thriller' peaked at No. 4 on the Hot 100 on March 3, 1984, and has returned to the Hot 100 thrice before during this decade. With its No. 31 re-entry, the track reaches its highest point since April 7, 1984, when it stood at No. 23.

(How is an over 30-year-old single eligible for the Hot 100, which ranks, almost exclusively, current hits via a blend of streaming, airplay and sales data? Songs not in a current release cycle can re-enter if they log notable gains in chart metrics and rank in the top 50.)

Further, Jackson's iconic 'Thriller' LP earns Greatest Gainer honors on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as it vaults from No. 102 to No. 42 (up 83 percent to 14,000 equivalent album units), also thanks to Halloween gains.

In the 62-year history of the Billboard 200, only the 'West Side Story' soundtrack has spent more weeks at No. 1 (54) than 'Thriller'. Jackson's signature set ranks at No. 3 on Billboard's Greatest of All-Time Billboard 200 Albums recap, behind only Adele's 21 and 'The Sound Of Music' soundtrack.

Katherine JacksonMichael Jackson’s Mother Katherine Suffers Another Stroke. 05-11-'18

Katherine Jackson has suffered another debilitating stroke, RadarOnline.com has confirmed exclusively with multiple sources.

This is her second major health setback since April, when the Jackson family matriarch suffered a previous stroke, Radar first reported.

Now, her famous family is preparing for the worst.

“Katherine had another stroke several weeks ago,” said a source. “Everyone is just bracing for her passing at this point.”

According to another source, the most recent stroke landed her in a Los Angeles-area hospital for about a week toward the end of the summer. Shortly after she returned home to recuperate, she had to see her doctors again.

“She’s not in good condition and is still struggling to speak. She has said she’s ready to be in heaven with her son,” added another source, referring to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, who died in 2009.

Sadly, Katherine’s husband Joseph died from an aggressive form of cancer in June of this year.

As Radar has reported, Jackson family members have grown increasingly concerned about the 88-year-old’s health since Joe’s death.

And it turns out, their worst fears are coming true.

“Her health has rapidly declined since Joseph’s death,” said a source. “She’s been in such pain, both internal and external. Katherine seems to have given up on even trying in the past month, and it makes her family very sad to see her like this. She was always such a strong, strong woman.”

Dionne Warwick Recalls Meeting Michael Jackson For The Very First Time. 05-11-'18

Dionne WarwickShe's the globally renowned singer who is in Australia ahead of her highly-anticipated tour.

And while making an appearance on The Project on Monday, Dionne Warwick recalled a very special memory.

The 77-year-old hit-maker recalled meeting the late Michael Jackson for the very first time, when he was just nine-years-old.

'He was nine years old and feisty little thing too, I must say,' she warmly reflected.

Dionne explained that her first encounter with the late star was when American record executive Berry Gordy took Michael to audition for Motown records.

'I was sitting in the living room when they came in... I got up to go to the bathroom and Michael sat down in my chair. So, when I came back I said.. ''Um excuse me, you're sitting in my seat, can you get up?''

'And he says, ''I'm Michael Jackson!'' and I looked at him and I said, ''Well, I'm Dionne Warwick!''

The 'Walk On By' singer explained that Michael quickly expressed that he had heard her songs on the radio.

Seemingly unimpressed with the little boy at the time, Dionne comically responded: 'I said, ''Get your butt off!''

Michael Jackson died in June 2009 of cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home. He was 50 years old.

He left behind an incredible music legacy, as well as his three young children - daughter Paris and sons Prince and Blanket.

Meanwhile, legendary soul icon Dionne is set to grace the stage on Thursday night (November 8) in Sydney at The Star Event Centre.

Never Before Seen Self-Portraits By Michael Jackson Have Emerged For Sale For $200,000. 05-11-'18

MJ DrawingThe superstar made over 30 drawings of himself and other family members including his sisters LaToya and Janet Jackson.

The intimate artwork dates from 1985 when he was at the peak of his career having released his 'Thriller' album.

He gifted his drawings, which are in black marker pen, to his plastic surgeon, Dr Steven M. Hoefflin.

One sweet portrait of his sister Toya has the caption ‘little Toya, I love you’, while another shows Jackson as a child wearing a crown with the title ‘little me’.

There is a drawing of his left hand next to which is written ‘ungloved’, a rare occasion he was without his signature white glove.

A child can be seen looking wistfully into the distance with the caption ‘little day dreamer’.

Another portrait which perhaps reflects his struggles with his own appearance and identity is entitled ‘the pains of adolescence’.

And a young woman’s face has been drawn by Jackson, whose private life and relationships were a source of constant speculation, with the words ‘the girl I love’.

Jackson has also written some poetry with one of the drawings which shows the side portrait of a face.

He writes: “As you can see even though I am in the here and now my thoughts are far, far away.”

The drawings have been consigned for sale with American based auction house Julien’s.

Martin Nolan, of Julien’s, said: “There are over 30 unseen drawings by Michael Jackson of himself and his sisters among others.

“He gave them to his plastic surgeon Dr Stephen M. Hoefflin and they are now being sold for the first time.

“It is an amazing collection.”

The sale takes place on November 9.

Former Home To Michael Jackson And Marc Chagall Sells For $32 Million. 02-11-'18

The Upper East Side mansion on East 74th Street was New York City’s biggest closing in October. Trish Regan of Fox Business also had a notable sale.

A six-story, Beaux-Arts mansion on the Upper East Side that was home to several prominent occupants, starting with President Grover Cleveland’s law partner and including the artist Marc Chagall and the pop star Michael Jackson, has sold for nearly $32 million.

It was the most expensive closed sale in the month of October, according to New York City property records.

The seller, noteworthy in his own right, was Marc Lasry, the billionaire hedge fund manager and co-owner of the N.B.A.’s Milwaukee Bucks. He and his wife, Cathy Lasry, had listed the house at 4 East 74th Street about a year ago for $39 million, then recently lowered it to $35 million. They bought it in 2001 for $11 million.

Manhattan Mansion
The 119-year-old home at 4 E. 74th St. is less than a block away from Central Park. The six-story mansion has 16 rooms and a grand parlor floor. Its high ceilings bring in an abundance of natural light.

The new owner appeared to be Michael Thomas Danson, the chief executive of GlobalData, a digital media company based in London. Public records show Mr. Danson took out a $15 million mortgage on the home.

This wasn’t the only property that sold for more than $30 million last month. Several blocks away, at the new condominium tower at 520 Park Avenue, at 60th Street, a full-floor apartment was acquired for $31.5 million by an unknown buyer. The sponsor unit, No. 36, has about 4,600 square feet, with four bedrooms, five baths and views of Central Park. The limestone building, designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, was developed by Zeckendorf Development; closings began in early September.

Nearby, Vornado Realty Trust’s 220 Central Park South, near 58th Street — another limestone tower designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects — had its first official closing last month: a three-bedroom, three-bath unit on the 26th floor that sold for $14.6 million.

In other notable October transactions, Alexander von Furstenberg, the son of the fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and the Swiss-born aristocrat Egon von Furstenberg, bought an apartment at 432 Park Avenue.

Trish Regan, an anchor on the Fox Business Network, and her husband, James A. Ben, an investment banker, sold their Fifth Avenue co-op.

Kenny OrtegaKenny Ortega Says Michael Jackson ‘Whispers’ In His Ear. 01-11-'18

Michael Jackson is speaking from the dead according to the King of Pop’s close friend and choreographer Kenny Ortega.

“Michael is here 24/7 . . . and always here whispering in my ear. I mean he is indelible, he is forever. He is alive in spirit with me always,” Ortega said at the 8th annual World of Choreography Awards.

Ortega choreographed Jackson’s 'This Is It' tour before the icon passed away from a propofol overdose.

Jackson’s older sister, LaToya, has made similar claims about the star since he died.

She told “Good Day New York” in 2013 that security guards at their family’s Encino, Calif., compound heard tap dancing in the house.

“When he told me, I said, ‘You’re kidding . . . Michael used to do that every Sunday for two hours.’”
