Bear ToysAfter 'Thriller', BE@RBRICK × Michael Jackson Goes 'Bad'. 24-05-'19

Last January, BE@RBRICK released a selection of their Bears in a 'Thriller' version!

Today, they just released a 'Bad' version! Officially licenses,, they will come in different dimensions and will cost between £90 and £362: 70mm/280mm ones or 700mm ones!

OK! It’s weird and not very pretty! But weirdly enough.

Bearbrick (rendered Be@rbrick) is a collectible toy designed and produced by the Japanese company Medicom Toy. The name is derived from the fact that the figure is a cartoon-style representation of a bear and that it is a variation of Medicom's Kubrick design. The at sign in the place of the letter a is a visual device that is a part of the Bearbrick brand, and as such, a trademark of Medicom Toy.

Michael Jackson's Estate And Former Manager Tohme Tohme Settle Lawsuit. 24-05-'19

Tohme TohmeA settlement has been reached in a lawsuit between Tohme Tohme and Michael Jackson’s Estate.

The settlement announced Thursday (May 23) with Tohme Tohme ends one of the last remaining legal fights involving Michael Jackson’s Estate.

The deal came after five days of the trial had already been held. Terms of the agreement were not released.

Tohme had initially sought nearly $20 million in commissions from the Jackson estate when he first filed the lawsuit in 2012.

Before trial began, a judge threw out part of the lawsuit in which Tohme sought part of the profits of the concert film 'This is It', which was released after Michael’s death.

Also, the Estate has started the lawsuit against HBO regarding 'Leaving Neverland' and maybe the will to get this one out of the way as quick as possible to concentrate on HBO was maybe why this has been settled quickly.

Radio Stations Drop Michael Jackson's Music After 'Leaving Neverland' Documentary. 22-05-'19

Leaving NeverlandA number of radio stations worldwide have dropped Michael Jackson's music in the wake of a new documentary publishing sexual assault allegations against the singer.

Two-part documentary 'Leaving Neverland' has already aired in the US on HBO, and is set to air on Channel 4 at 9pm today and tomorrow.

The two hour-long episodes hear from Wade Robson and James Safechuck - now grown men - who claim that Jackson abused them as children.

While the Jackson Estate has reacted with threats of legal action against the documentary and called it a "public lynching", the response from viewers has led a number of radio stations in New Zealand, Canada and other countries to make the decision to pull MJ's music.

"Michael Jackson isn't currently on any MediaWorks Radio stations' playlists," company director for radio Leon Wratt said in a statement.

He added: "This is a reflection of our audiences and their preferences - it is our job to ensure our radio stations are playing the music people want to hear."

Radio NZ said that it would only play Jackson's music if it was "part of a news story or to provide colour around a commentary piece".

And NZME director Dean Buchanan said: "Playlists change from week to week and right now Michael Jackson does not feature on them."

Four radio stations in Canada - three in Montreal and one in Quebec - are not playing Jackson's songs.

Amsterdam-based NHRadio and Norway's NRK have also followed suit.

However, the BBC has denied that it has pulled his music after it was reported by Variety it had been "quietly dropped" from one station.

Wade Robson says Jackson began abusing him aged seven, and Safechuck says he was aged 10 when the alleged abuse started.

Directed and produced by Emmy Award-nominated British filmmaker Dan Reed, the 'Leaving Neverland' synopsis reads: 'Leaving Neverland' is a two-part documentary exploring the separate but parallel experiences of two young boys, James Safechuck, at age 10, and Wade Robson, at age seven, both of whom were befriended by Michael Jackson.

"Through gut-wrenching interviews with Safechuck, now 37, and Robson, now 41, as well as their mothers, wives and siblings, the film crafts a portrait of sustained abuse, exploring the complicated feelings that led both men to confront their experiences after both had a young son of his own."

'Leaving Neverland' airs on Channel 4 tonight and tomorrow at 9pm.

Michael Jackson Bodyguard Matt Fiddes Warns New Doc Will "Ruin 'Leaving Neverland' Director's Career". 22-05-'19

Matt FiddesMichael Jackson's former bodyguard Matt Fiddes has shared a clip from an explosive new documentary which he says will ruin the career of 'Leaving Neverland' director Dan Reed.

Fiddes, who worked with the singer for 10 years, is backing new movie 'Michael Jackson: Chase The Truth', which aims to debunk the child sex abuse claims made in 'Leaving Neverland'.

Click here to watch the video.

In a post on Instagram today, Fiddes gave fans a look at the film ahead of its release next month and warned it will "get the real truth out".

He wrote: "I have just been sent the 2nd teaser for the @michaeljackson documentary being released next month.

"Here it is! It’s looking good! If I was the director of #leavingneverland I would be very concerned about my career right now!

"Let’s all get behind this #michaeljackson documentary and get the real truth out!

"I will update you on this page as and when @entertainmeproductions give me release dates and maybe a premiere date of the film."

In harrowing Channel 4 documentary, 'Leaving Neverland', Wade Robson and James Safechuck both claimed Jackson groomed and molested them.

However, personal trainer Fiddes believes that with a team of 100 security guards and 150 staff in total, there's no way Jackson and the boys could ever have been alone at his Neverland Ranch, where the abuse allegedly took place.

Revealing his role in 'Chase The Truth', Fiddes explained: "It is near on impossible for anyone to get past staff and the security in place.

Fans could not get past us and would go to extreme levels to meet Michael. And Michael was never alone when travelling with his friends/family/nannies in tow and many other members of the entourage!"

Both Wade and James claimed they were molested by Jackson in his bedroom and closet, and that the father-of-three had a system of alarms outside his bedroom to alert him if anyone came near.

But according to Fiddes, the "secret room" was actually a panic room that was built before Jackson bought Neverland in 1987.

"People used to parachute into Neverland in the hope to meet their idol and he had to run to his panic room! Corridor alarms when people approach your private space is normal for all superstars!" Fiddes said.

"And even cameras above his bedroom door for surveillance by bodyguards while on the road too as well as nighttime security bedroom door security. He was checked on through the night too by phone calls!"

Chase The Truth also features Jackson biographer Mike Smallcombe, who revealed to Mirror Online how he had debunked the theory that the singer abused children in the Neverland train station.

Director Reed later addressed the doubters, tweeting: "Progress - seem to have conceded that Safechuck was molested and are now debating which rooms at Neverland the sex took place in + James' age when it stopped.

"How about adding up total number of nights MJ slept with other people’s sons: was it hundreds or thousands?"

The Jackson family have hit back at the 'Leaving Neverland' allegations and compared the hounding of Michael to a "public lynching", especially as the late singer is unable to defend himself in person.

The superstar, who was previously tried on child molestation charges and acquitted on every count, died in 2009 at the aged of 50.

Taika WaititiTaika Waititi Says Michael Jackson Film Script Is 'Brilliant'. 16-05-'19

Taika Waititi has boasted his 'Bubbles' script about the life of Michael Jackson is ''brilliant''.

The 43-year-old filmmaker's animation tells Michael Jackson's life story through the eyes of his famous pet chimpanzee called Bubbles and although the project is ''stuck in the early stages'' he's proud of his story and thinks the concept is ''so cool''.

Speaking to Deadline, he said: ''That script has been around for a long time, and it's a little bit stuck in the early stages of trying to figure out what it could be and what it would look like.

''It's a f***ing brilliant script, though. It's so cool to look at the idea of telling a story like this through the eyes of a chimpanzee.

''But right now I'm finishing two other features - one which I'm looking to do this year - and finishing 'Jojo [Rabbit], and there are a couple of TV shows I'm developing. There's about two or three that I mentioned to the press, and they're way back on my backburner.''

The 'Thor: Ragnarok' director is currently working on dark comedy film 'Jojo Rabbit' which follows 10-year-old boy Jojo, a proud member of the Hitler Youth who falls in love with a Jewish girl he finds hiding from the fascist force in an attic.

Taika plays Jojo's imaginary friend, a version of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, but he didn't do any research for the role because he knows the dictator is ''such a f***ing ****''.

He said: ''I didn't base him on anything I'd seen about Hitler before. I just made him a version of myself that happened to have a bad haircut and a sh*tty little moustache. And a mediocre German accent. It would just be too weird to play the actual Hitler, and I don't think people would enjoy the character as much. Because he was such a f***ing **** and everyone knows that as well.''

Prince and Blanket Jackson have started their own YouTube series.

Right now you can go see our first ever video on my YouTube channel (link in bio) we know that this is a very rough first video but we want to take you on the journey with us as we improve and develop the show. As usual all input is welcome here or in the YouTube comments. Expect more to come y'all #avengersendgame (sic)''

Prince and Blanket JacksonMichael Jackson’s son Prince graduates from College on Saturday (May 11),
Blanket was there to cheer on older brother Prince.

Prince had previously vowed to carry on his father Michael's charity work.

Speaking as he collected the Motif Lifetime Medal of Honor, he said: ''This is a really special moment for me. My dad did some cool things, but his biggest passion was helping others. I learned how important that was from him. We called the foundation Heal L.A., because the goal was to further the cause of dad's Heal the World organisation and start locally by helping out at home. John and I got together with a few of our friends at school and decided to do little things to help out. All of a sudden, it just got bigger and bigger. We were giving more and hosting more events, and all of these amazing people started helping. Let's heal L.A. and Heal the World.''

KINGVENTIONKINGVENTION Needs Your Help. 16-05-'19

As you all know, KINGVENTION – the European Michael Jackson Convention will take place inn Central London on September 21.

Following an earlier post on Social Media, the Event told fans that they have lost all their sponsors following the so called documentary 'Leaving Neverland'.

Today, the event organisers are asking a bit of help from the fans, especially those who cannot attend the event.

Their aim is to put a massive Michael Jackson imagery outside the venue: The Saw Theatre which is in the center of London City near one of the busiest Train Station.

Here the facade they would like to cover up with Michael Jackson.

Here the full statement:

Kingvention was always scheduled to return in 2019 after taking a break last year. What we didn’t anticipate was how its return would come at a time of such unrest in the world of Michael Jackson.

So this year is different. We feel compelled to do Kingvention and to make it even bigger, even more celebratory and even more inclusive for Michael’s fans and we’re making every effort to do just that, which includes moving to a much grander venue.

But doing so ultimately comes with something London is famous for…a larger price tag. And we expected that, but we don’t want to comprise of making the event anything less than a huge celebration of Michael Jackson.

So what do we need help with?

– We’d like to be able to absolutely cover the venue in all things Michael Jackson, including the outside facade. We want passers by to see that a Michael Jackson event is taking place, because he is loved and celebrated.
So, if you’re able to help with a small donation, £1, £5, £20, or whatever you’d like to give, we’d love to be able to make this a reality.

Why do we need support?

– When we assessed how we’d like to dress the new venue, many factors came up including the need for specialist personnel and a ‘cherry picker’ (Beat It style!) to cover the outside facade. These all come with additional costs that we didn’t incur previously at our old venue. So any support we could receive in making this happen would be extremely welcomed.

What it’s important to know

– All the team who create and run Kingvention do so for free and aren’t paid for their time, efforts, involvement or participation on the day. They all work to create the event out of love for Michael Jackson. We pull in friends, partners, family members (even Grandparents!) to help so we can ensure every penny goes into making Kingvention even bigger and better each time.

So with all that said, if you’re able to make a small contribution we’d be most grateful. We’ll be sure to share plenty of pictures online after the event and we’ll even put your name in the program as a thank you.

You can also donate what you can:

Captain EO DVD CoverWill 'Captain EO' Be Part Of 'Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge'. 14-05-'19

If you are a 'Star Wars' fan, you will know that Disneylands will open a new section of their parks called 'Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge'.

The section will be fully dedicated to Star Wars obviously and a lot of questions have been raised about the old attractions like Star Tours which opened in 1987.

“Our other 'Star Wars' offerings — Star Tours and other things that we have in the park — those are not going away,” Imagineering portfolio creative executive Scott Trowbridge said. “We have no plans right now. We’re not announcing any changes to any of that stuff right now.”

The new 14-acre Galaxy’s Edge will open on May 31 at Disneyland.
Star Tours debuted at Disneyland in 1987 long before Disney acquired Lucas film and the 'Star Wars' franchise. The addition of the 'Star Wars' ride came at a time in the 1980's and 90's when Disney was introducing attractions based on non-Disney intellectual properties like the 'Indiana Jones Adventure', 'Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin' and Michael Jackson’s 'Captain EO'.

Will 'Captain EO' return to the new themed 'Star Wars' section of Disneyland? We can only hope but with the Estate suing Walt Disney Company regarding the ABC TV network’s 'The Last Days Of Michael Jackson' documentary over copyright infringement, it seems our Captain will not be back any time soon to Disney parks!

We can however still dream that 'Captain EO' could be part of it especially since Disney was in the process to include the character to their Disney Infinity!

Nothing is lost yet! We can change the world!

Onetime Michael Jackson Manager Dr. Tohme Tohme Seeks Millions From His Estate. 14-05-'19

Tohme_TohmeThe first phase of trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit brought against Michael Jackson’s estate by a former manager for the singer who alleges he is owed commissions for his work on behalf of the late King of Pop.

Tohme R. Tohme says he is due a 15% commission on compensation that Jackson received in 2009, the year the entertainer died, as well as a share of 'This Is It', the documentary of Jackson’s rehearsals for concerts planned for London that were canceled because of his death.

“After Tohme’s success in helping Michael Jackson save his Neverland Ranch estate from foreclosure, Michael Jackson asked Tohme to serve as his manager,” according to Tohme’s court papers.

Tohme was among a parade of confidants who entered Jackson’s life in the years before he died.

Tohme devoted his resources, time and energy into bringing Jackson back into the public eye as the King of Pop, the suit says. He was responsible for Jackson entering contracts that benefited him and later his estate, it says.

Tohme is seeking about $18.7 million, records show. Lawyers for the Jackson estate maintain that Tohme’s explanation of the contract is incorrect and that the judge should “reject Tohme’s proffered interpretation and hold that he has no right to commission income received after the ... agreement terminated, including income received by the estate from the exploitation of the motion picture ‘This Is It.’”

Tohme sued the Jackson estate in February 2012. Santa Monica Superior Court Judge Mark Young will make the final contract interpretation.

The witness list includes Jackson’s mother, Katherine, and brother Jermaine.

Jackson died June 25, 2009, at 50 of acute propofol intoxication.

Michael Jackson's Doctor Neil Ratner Warned Star Over His Unhealthy Obsession With Kids. 13-05-'19

Dr. Neil RatnerMichael Jackson 's former doctor has revealed he begged the superstar to end his unhealthy obsession with kids.

Dr. Neil Ratner was the King of Pop's private physician during the 1990's and often accompanied him on tour.

He has now spoken out about Jackson's friendships with young boys, insisting he warned the singer to change his ways.

However, Dr. Ratner said that although Jackson's behaviour was odd, he never suspected his boss was abusing the youngsters.

He told The Sun Online : "As much joy as [being with kids] it brought him it led to the biggest problems in his life as well.

"Did he like children more than adults? Probably...

"I talked to him about it. I said ‘this is not good behaviour for a 50-year-old-man’...

"Believe me, if I had seen or suspected... I don’t want to be around that. I don’t condone that. I don’t want to see kids abused.

"I’m a doctor. It’s my duty to stop it and prevent it from happening."

Dr. Ratner explained that Jackson was a "manchild" who just didn't want to grow up and was obsessed with a Peter Pan fantasy of staying young forever.

The medic insisted he and many others tried to get Jackson to face up to his problems and embrace being a grown-up, but he was "stuck".

His comments come months after the release of headline-grabbing documentary 'Leaving Neverland', in which James Safechuck and Wade Robson accused the star of horrific sexual abuse.

In the film, Robson and Safechuck alleged Jackson had abused them from the ages of 10 and seven respectively, after they were befriended by the King of Pop.

The Jackson family have hit back at the allegations and compared the hounding of Michael to a "public lynching", especially as the late singer is unable to defend himself in person.

The superstar, who was previously tried on child molestation charges and acquitted on every count, died in 2009 at the aged of 50.

Michael Jackson's Son Prince, 22, Celebrates His Graduation From LA's Loyola Marymount University.
12-05-'19

Prince Jackson
Prince Jackson and TJ Jackson

Prince Jackson is a graduate.

The son of Michael Jackson, 22, wrapped up his stint Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 11), and was hailed by his cousin TJ Jackson for the milestone.

'Prince, it’s been a long road but you did it,' TJ said in a tweet in which he and Prince posed together. 'Keep learning, keep growing and keep giving back! So so proud of you. I love you. #graduation #congrats #proudcousin

The Encino, California native was clad in a blue cap and gown on the big day, as he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Prince first enrolled in the college in 2015 following his graduation from the Buckley School, where Kim Kardashian previously was a student.

In a series of Instagram Stories clips, Prince sat in the crowd with friends, showed off his class ring and noted that it was hot day on the Sunken Garden at the Southern California campus, which sits by the Marina Del Rey area.

Prince, who's older brother to younger sister Paris, 21, and Blanket, 17, later shared a clip after he removed his cap and gown and had his motorcycle humming as he prepared to depart.

'For those of you wondering - yes, I did ride my motorcycle to my gradation,' said Prince, who was only 12-years-old when his famous father died June 25, 2009. (His birth mother, Debbie Rowe, gave up her rights to Prince and Paris in 2001.)

Prince also commemorated the occasion with an anecdote, as he explained how he mistakenly purchased a coffee mug three years ago that read, 'Loyola Marymount University Alumni.'

'I can finally take my first sip of coffee out of it and truly be a Loyola alum,' he said before sipping out of it.

Prince opened up to the Los Angeles Times in 2016 about his ambitions to enter his family's business, music - but not necessarily as a performer.

'Music is a big part of my life,' he said. 'It shaped who I am because of my family, but I’ve always wanted to go into production.'

'My dad would ask me what I wanted to do and my answer was always producing and directing.'

Michael Jackson’s Mom Katherine Says 'Leaving Neverland' Accuser Wade Robson Is ‘Lying Through His Teeth’ 11-05-'19

Katherine JacksonMichael Jackson’s mom, Katherine, has said she is certain that 'Leaving Neverland' accuser Wade Robson is lying. Katherine made the assertion during an interview on 60 Minutes Australia in which she talked about her late son, the pop superstar Michael Jackson and the challenges of raising his children, Paris, Prince and Blanket.

She said raising them on her own was harder than rising her nine sons, including Michael.

“Today it’s a little more difficult than it was in the day I raised my kids,” the 83-year-old Jackson family matriarch said, “It’s a little more harder, because the world changed a lot.”

Katherine then lamented that Michael’s untimely death has “caused problems in a lot of ways.”

The interviewer then pressed her to comment specifically about the sexual abuse allegations against her late son.

Referring to the court cases after the allegations were made when Michael was alive and the new claims made in HBO’s 'Leaving Neverland' documentary after MJ’s death, Katherine said she knew from the beginning that Michael was innocent and that the families that accused him of child sex abuse were lying.

“It was hard on me because I knew all the time that Michael didn’t do it. I had no doubt,” she said. “I know he didn’t do it — both families lied.”

She claimed that Wade Robson lied about what happened because he wanted a share of Michael Jackson’s estate.

“Wade Robson is lying through his teeth and he knows it,” Katherine said. “And anybody can say it that knows it, knows Michael. Wade knows better. Wade just wants money.”

Katherine’s latest denials and defense of her deceased son come after Michael Jackson’s estate announced it is suing HBO for $100 million over the 'Leaving Neverland' documentary. The family of the late pop star say they have “overwhelming evidence” that Robson is lying but they have so far not shared the evidence they claim to have.

Chris Brown Faces Backlash For Suggesting Michael Jackson Handed Crown To Him. 10-05-'19

Chris BrownIt may have been fan art, but fans were not behind this picture’s message. Chris Brown shared a drawing of Michael Jackson handing over a crown, and ‘No’ was echoed throughout the comments section.

The late Michael Jackson is known as the King of Pop, and many fans don’t want to see that title go to Chris Brown, 30. The R&B singer appeared to think otherwise when he shared fan art on May 10, which showed Chris wearing the crown now, which was actually the shadow of MJ’s crown. Breezy shared the art on May 10 — you can see it here. Explaining the picture, Chris wrote, “Learn from the greatness in a person .then learn from the greatness in you!❤️” But fans interpreted a much different message.

“No one replaces Michael Jackson period RIP LEGEND ALL THE TIME,” one angry fan commented, while another wrote, “No boy, no… Never!!! Michael is the only king.” The outrage piled on — “THIS Is stupid,” “SORRY BUT, NO” — and many more pleaded with Chris to delete the picture.

This isn’t the first time fans were offended by the idea of Chris being likened to Michael’s legacy. Justin Bieber, 25, who is one of Breezy’s biggest supporters in Hollywood, posted a “legendary” equation to Instagram on May 3, which claimed that MJ and Tupac Shakur added together equals CB. The suggestion disappointed many of the Biebs’ fans, as they resurfaced Chris’ attack against Rihanna a decade ago, which led the hip hop artist to plead guilty to a felony assault that year. Justin took to Instagram a day later to write that “Bullying is not okay.”

Jermaine Jackson Rips Quincy Jones For Scrubbing MJ's Name From London Show. 10-05-'19

Jermaine JacksonJermaine Jackson is slamming Quincy Jones for removing Michael Jackson references from his orchestral show in London ... Jermaine thinks Quincy's caving to outside pressure.

We got Jermaine at LAX and asked him about Quincy's decision to scrub all references to the King of Pop from his upcoming concert across the pond ... and Michael's big bro had a very stern message for the legendary producer.

Quincy's orchestral show at The O2 arena in London next month was originally billed as a live performance of 3 classic MJ albums -- 'Off The Wall', 'Thriller' and 'Bad' -- but now Quincy is calling it a "soundtrack of the 80's."

As you know ... Quincy produced Michael's 3 biggest albums, and the 2 will forever be linked. Jermaine tells us it's grossly unfair for Quincy to try and distance himself from Michael.

So far, Quincy isn't saying what prompted the change ... but there's been a lot of media pressure in the UK to mute Michael in the wake of 'Leaving Neverland'. Jermaine feels Quincy is listening to the wrong voices. BTW, the movement fizzled in the U.S.

Check out our clip ... Jermaine demands Quincy to brush up on his history.

Lawsuit Filed By Michael Jackson's Ex-Manager Dr. Tohme Tohme Goes To Trial. 09-05-'19

Tohme TohmeMichael Jackson's last days will reportedly be resurrected in a Los Angeles court next week as a trial gets underway in a 7-year-old lawsuit filed by his ex-manager looking to claim his commission for burnishing the image of the troubled superstar.

Tohme Tohme, who came into Jackson’s life in 2008 with claims of connections in the Arab world, alleges he provided the necessary "advice, guidance and skillful work" to improve Jackson's image, help his financial situation and put the singer in a position to go on tour, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Estate counters Tohme got a $35,000 monthly fee on top of a 15 percent commission, that the contract terminated before Jackson's death – and that he was stealing from Jackson to boot.

The trial, expected to start on Tuesday in LA Superior Court, is being split into two phases, the first dealing with Tohme’s contract, THR reported.

But testimony will heat up in a second phase parsing the relationship between Jackson and Tohme, THR reported. At that time, witnesses expected on the stand will include Jackson's mother, Katherine, his brother Jermaine, top agents and lawyers in the entertainment industry and Thomas Barrack Jr., the President Donald Trump confidant whose Colony Capital spared Jackson from being evicted from Neverland after buying the loan on the property, THR reported.
