'Torture' is the second single from The Jacksons album 'Victory', released in August, 1984 in the USA and the UK on the Epic label. The song was written by Jackie Jackson and produced by Jackie Jackson and Kathy Wakefield.

Originally planned as a duet between Jackie and Michael - Jermaine took on Jackie's vocals, as he wasn't sure he would be involved with the 'Victory' album until the last minute, when he agreed to go on tour with his brothers.

Demo versions probably include one with Jackie and Michael singing lead, and maybe a solo version by Jackie.
