A Pillow Case Singed By Michael Is Auctioned At Christie's. 30-04-'03

A white cotton pillow case signed and inscribed in black felt pen "I love this city very much, all my Love to all of you, I'm going to sleep now, I love you, Michael Jackson" is auctioned at Christie's in London and sells for 713,00 dollar.

Michael Jackson stayed at The Dorchester Hotel, London on May 27th, 2000 when he came to England to accompany Elizabeth Taylor to a tribute concert, 'Elizabeth Taylor: A Musical Celebration' at The Royal Albert Hall on 26th May. Jackson signed and inscribed this pillow case the following evening, and threw it from the balcony of his suite to the crowd of fans gathered below.

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson Angry With Paul McCartney. 30-04-'03

Michael Jackson has send angrily an email to Sir Paul McCartney, in which he writes that the former Beatle himself "should mind his own business."

"I do not need your advice when it comes to how I should bring up my children!", The King of Pop reported angry. McCartney dropped recently on British radio station 'Five' arrogantly about the education that Michael gives his children Prince, Paris and Prince Michael II.

"I feel sorry for those little ones. This thing with those masks. Scandalous simply," McCartney told. "My children went to a normal school, had common friends, had an ordinary life. That's all fine, despite their father was a celebrity. I'd like to see that Michael would educate his children that way. But yeah, Michael is simply a weird grape! "

That of which grape will be Jackson sausage, but the remark that he would not be a good father, he gets his nose grew sharply for: "McCartney does not know what he's talking about, I would not have to think that my children should be kidnapped. On this way they remain completely anonymous. They find it the most normal thing in the world to walk out with a mask."

Ever Jackson and McCartney were the best friends. Together they recorded in 1983 the hit 'The Girl Is Mine', and a year later scored the pairs with 'Say Say Say'. The friendship cooled quickly after Michael Jackson swept away for the nose of McCartney the rights of all The Beatles songs.

"I have send Michael some letters about it. After all, they are my songs. I once got one line back:.." Business is business! "It will ..! "Said McCartney.

Jackson Eager To Reveal All To Parkinson. 27-04-'03

Michael Jackson wants to appear on British talk show Parkinson - in a bid to save his career.

The superstar had his fingers burned after a sensational documentary with TV journalist Martin Bashir.

But he is convinced respected TV host Michael Parkinson can help him rescue his ailing image.

A source close to Jackson tells British tabloid the Daily Star, "Michael has been devastated by the media fall-out since he allowed Martin Bashir into his life. He wishes he'd never done the interview and has vowed never to open up like that again.

"But he realises the only way to win over people is by laying his soul bare to somebody he can trust. He is aware of Michael Parkinson's reputation as a firm but fair chat show host and feels he's the man for the job."

While Parkinson is said to be keen to take up the opportunity to speak to one of the biggest names in music, the project is on hold until the autumn because Jackson wants to do a one-on-one interview with no other guests on the show and the current season of Parkinson is already fully booked.

Liz's Elephant Gift For Jackson. 25-04-'03

Michael Jackson's biggest Christmas surprise ever was an elephant presented to him by pal Dame Elizabeth Taylor.

The actress thrilled the pop hitmaker on Christmas Day 1991 when she turned up at his Neverland Ranch home in California with an elephant called Gypsy in tow.

The larger-than-life gift giving was caught by Jackson's staff on home video and featured on two-hour TV special 'Michael Jackson's Private Home Movies', which aired in America last night.

The footage featured a colourful Dame Liz cooing over the huge beast while Jackson feeds it apples.

Private Home MoviesMichael Jackson's 'Private Home Movies' Airs Tonight On TV. 24-04-'03

Jackson, who airs some of his home videos on US TV tonight, says he is not an oddball.

"So many things are said about me and I have no idea where they came from," he told 'People Magazine'."

"I don't have sex with little kids, I don't sleep in hyperbaric chambers and I don't have elephant bones in my body.

"I'm not a mean person. It breaks my heart to think that some people have said that."

Child sex allegations resurfaced in February when he admitted that he still shares his bedroom with children during an interview with Martin Bashir.

He told the documentary 'Living With Michael Jackson' that he had formed a close friendship with a 12-year-old boy, but that it was not sexual.

Michael Jackson's 'Private Home Movies' shows footage of him relaxing at home with his extended family and spending a Christmas morning with Elizabeth Taylor.

Producer Brad Lachman said it was more personal than the Bashir documentary, but not controversial.

He said: "For whatever reason, a lot of people have not seen what he's really like. I found him to be an extremely charming person."

Red DragonMichael Jackson 'Red Dragon' Appearance. 20-04-'03

For those of you who do not know already. 'Red Dragon' directed by Brett Ratner - 'Rush Hour 1 and 2', and whom was with Michael recently in Miami. The recent DVD release includes a 40-minute "directors journey" that goes from pre-production to the premiere. It is interesting to watch the rehearsal of a scene and then the finished version.

Michael even makes a pointless appearance on the set and leads to a couple of funny instances.

Red Dragon is a American crime thriller film based on Thomas Harris' novel of the same name, featuring psychiatrist and serial killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter. It is a prequel to both 'The Silence Of The Lambs' (1991) and 'Hannibal' (2001).

Michael Jackson Makes Children Wear Face Masks. 17-04-'03

Michael Jackson covers his children's faces in spider-man masks when they go shopping.

The singer due to his bizarre antics, made Prince, six, and Paris, four, wear the uncomfortable looking face-shields as he escorted them around a specially-cleared electronics store in California, America.

And even when they met up with Jackson's sister LaToya they had to keep the masks on.

This is not the first time that the 'Bad' hitmaker has made Prince and Paris cover their faces - last November (20) he made them wear red veils to Berlin zoo while on a trip to Germany.

An eye witness says, "The kids certainly didn't look comfortable. They were pulling at the masks as if they were hot and stuffy.

"It seemed quite cruel. The masks were full-face, not the silky surgical mask Jackson had on.".

Jackson's Neverland Ranch Not For Sale. 15-04-'03

Reputedly cash-strapped Michael Jackson is denying reports that he is trying to sell his 2,600-acre Neverland Ranch in California's Santa Ynez Valley -- complete with its own lake, train, Disney-like rides and other attractions -- for $22.5 million.

In fact, he is not selling it at all, the singer claims.

Last week, stories had surfaced that the estate (which reportedly costs $3 million a year to maintain) had been put up for sale -- amid claims that, in order to ease his financial burden, Jackson was uprooting to Florida or to an old villa in Italy.

But Jackson's managers, speaking to England's BBC News Online, say the reports are not true.

Not that Jackson, 44, isn't facing some heavy financial burdens. He was recently ordered by a California court to pay $5.3 million to a concert promoter who sued the star for pulling out of two millennium concerts. And the disappointing sales of his last CD, 'Invincible', have been widely reported.

Possibly, it has been suggested, the stories of Neverland's sale were fueled by a recent evaluation of the property that was done for property-tax purposes.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Santa Barbara County officials assessed the property to see if it qualified for tax breaks as a cattle ranch -- and decided Neverland is worth $12.3 million.

Jackson Puts Neverland Up For Sale? 09-04-'03

Michael Jackson has put his infamous Neverland Ranch on the market for $22.5 million (GBP15 million) - but experts believe it's only worth $13.5 million.

Michael, who created massive controversy earlier this year by admitting to sleeping in the same bed as children at his Californian ranch, has put his lavish property up for sale following reports he's bought a Tuscan village to relocate to.

Jackson has also recently lost a $9 million lawsuit, and is seeking to offload the 2,600 acre (1,052 hectares) ranch, which costs $3 million a year to run.

The property, which estate agents believe has been severely overpriced, features a lake, theme park and railway.

Poggio Santa Cecilia Jackson Shells Out For An Italian Village. 06-04-'03

Superstar Michael Jackson is so keen to become lord of the manor that he buying himself his own Italian village. The eccentric pop millionaire is paying out $31 million for the medieval village of Poggio Santa Cecilia in Tuscany, and is willing to spend an extra $31 million on renovating the village to get it in shape.

Michael has been looking for a European site to turn into the equivalent of his Neverland ranch for some time, and this 1,700 acre site is just the place. The village includes an 18th-century villa, two lakes, 40 empty houses, an English garden, a church, market hall, olive press and oil mill -- so there will be plenty to keep the star amused.

Estate agent Franceso Carlucci says, "Michael Jackson has expressed an interest in buying the whole lot. An Italian businessman bought the village 30 years ago and is now looking to cash in on his investment. At the time, farmers were all selling up. Prices in Tuscany have tripled in the past five years."

A source adds, "He loves the lifestyle of the old European princes and lords. He has always wanted to live like one of them. It's a dream come true."

The King Of Pop Is A Surprise Guest At Palm Beach Event. 06-04-'03

Michael Jackson appears on April 5th as a surprise guest at the 8th Annual 'Palm Beach International Film Festival' Grand Gala Awards Show, at Boca Raton Resort, Palm Beach, Florida.

The Palm Beach Post of 6th April reports that more than 500 guests were stunned when the superstar, who has reportedly been house-hunting in Palm Beach County for several weeks, arrived at the $1,000-a-plate dinner shortly after 8 p.m.

He joined legendary producer Robert Evans at the center table, where several other unannounced guests were seated: actor/comedian Chris Tucker and Brett Ratner, star and director of the popular 'Rush Hour' hits and good friends to Michael. Ratner presented the festival's 'Lifetime Achievement Award' to Evans.

From an artistic perspective, the gala also was a success, thanks in large part to the greatest scheduling coup in its brief history. The event is only eight years old.

The Post reports that Michael had heard about the festival during his house-hunting trip and said he would like to attend.

"It's bigger, it's better, more people are going to festival films this year, and wow! What a night," said Randi Emerman, who is in her second year as the festival's executive director.
