Michael JacksonA Place in Your Heart Presents: A Michael Jackson Art Museum. 30-04-'15

Calling all Michael Jackson Artists! There is now a museum to display some of the awesome work that you do. Right now there is a great need for artists to donate some their works. Works will be displayed to people all over the world, for Michael's birthday in August. For those who will kindly donate, please know this is a tribute of love. Contact Dr. Catherine Gross at revdrcmg@gmail.com. Lets "make that change!" The power that art wields is incredible. Its almost like a ministry. Art speaks to people. It changes things. When you share it, you are sharing a little bit of your soul with others. Michael said is it with the ultimate elegance.

“You give of your talent, of your ability… the talent that was given you by the Heavens. That’s why we’re here, to bring a sense of escapism in time of need. And, uh, if you’re a painter you paint; if you’re a sculptor, you sculpt; if you’re a writer, you write; if you’re a songwriter, you give songs; if you’re a dancer, you give dance. You give people some love and some… some bliss and some escapism, and to show that you truly care from the heart, and be there for them. Not just from a distance, but show you really care. You know, take the long mile and be there for them. And that’s what I did, and many others who cared and helped. And it’s an important thing.” Michael Jackson.

Indeed, the vision of A Michael Jackson Art Museum with works that are done solely by Michael Jackson fans, has finally come to be. The museum is in Gary Indiana, on Millers Beach in the Morning Bishop Theater House. An art museum with works that are done solely by Michael Jackson fans should immediately initiate philosophical considerations of how Gary, Indiana has made a powerful impression on the entire world... as well it should for a multitude of reasons.

Often our early childhood experiences affect the way we feel about things all the way into adulthood. Childhood Development completed two studies on this topic.

Michael Jackson One Cirque Du Soleil Show Charms And Has Heart. 27-04-'15

MJ OneMichael Jackson may no longer be with us, but ‘Michael Jackson: ONE,’ a ‘Cirque du Soleil’ artist-driven show in Las Vegas, makes it feel like the music icon is very much alive. It’s a MUST-SEE.

Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson: ONE is like no show I’ve ever seen before. From the moment you walk into the Michael Jackson Theater at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, you become immersed in a magical, but very intense world — one that Michael likely experienced on a day-to-day basis.

Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Michael Jackson: ONE’ In Las Vegas — Why You Must See It.

The show opens with performers, dressed in flashy red jackets, walking up and down the aisles and taking invasive paparazzi photos of the guests. Tabloid headlines are also splashed across the walls. It’s during this moment that you realize the show is going to be more than just a tribute — it’s actually going to be fun.

Running a little less than two hours, the production, which premiered on June 29, 2013, moves from song to song, as projected images of Michael Jackson and scenes from his iconic music videos appear between set-pieces.

Some of the best moments involve acrobats flying past one another on a half dozen trampolines, performers taking on Michael’s toughest moves with precision and ease, and when a MJ hologram appears alongside the dancers. Talk about an emotional punch to the gut!

The show’s storyline revolves around four “misfits” who set out on a journey into Michael Jackson’s world and music. By the end, they each take on a characteristic of the legend himself.

It’s honestly a phenomenal show and even the mildest Michael Jackson fan will find something to love!

Lionel Richie: 'There Was Something Seriously Wrong With Michael Jackson'. 25-04-'15

Lionel RichieThe downside of marrying a model half his age. The day he discovered Michael Jackson was as mad as a snake. And why the Ku Klux Klan are his biggest fans – nothing was off-limits when Glastonbury-bound legend Lionel Richie invited Event to his mysteriously muddy Los Angeles mansion...

He first met Michael Jackson when the tragic entertainer was nine years old, cementing their friendship as The Commodores supported The Jackson 5 in the early Seventies.

‘Michael never got to hang out as a kid,’ says Richie in an attempt to explain Jackson’s complex personality.

‘So as he got older he was hanging out with the only people he felt comfortable with, and that was the kids. I get that when you’re 19, maybe 22, but when you get to be 40 it doesn’t fly.

‘Some times you’d walk in at Michael’s and there’d be 25 kids all watching a Disney film. Kids loved it – Nicole’s favourite hangout in the world was Michael’s. He was her godfather.’

How did Richie react when the news of the child abuse allegations about Jackson broke?

‘I freaked out,’ he says, earnestly. ‘But Michael didn’t know how to fight and he never saw the news, didn’t watch TV, had no clue about current events. Even when he was the news.’

But the kids, the menagerie, the relentless plastic surgery. As a friend, did he ever take him to one side and say, ‘Michael, this is all a bit weird’?

‘Every time I saw him,’ he exhales. ‘There was something seriously wrong with Michael. But you have to understand that this is Hollywood so you can’t use the word “weird”.

'In Des Moines, Illinois, you’d get locked up; in Hollywood it’s just another day.

'So if you want to employ staff to look after your chimpanzee and your giraffes, then that’s perfectly normal.’

Taking a draught of iced tea and plucking a stray sliver of mint from his trademark moustache, Richie recalls an example of what Jackson believed to be ‘normal’.

‘We’re writing 'We Are The World' in Michael’s bedroom,’ he begins, setting the scene.

‘I’m sitting on the floor because Michael doesn’t have a bed, he sleeps on the floor.

'But he’s got his records all lined up around the perimeter of the room and I see one of them move, and then I hear this terrible, terrifying hissing sound.

‘I’m looking at this snake with a head the size of a dog and his mouth is open. Michael goes, “He wants to play with you, Lionel.” I’m screaming like the last crazy woman in a horror movie.

‘And Michael’s saying, “Come on, let’s finish these lyrics” and I’m like, “I’ll do that right after I’ve changed my underwear!”

‘I last saw Michael about a week before he died. He was really thin, really not healthy, really not capable of making that tour.

‘The heartbreaking irony of Michael Jackson is that we used to always say, “We’ll never get involved with drugs”. And he died of just that.’

Michael Jackson’s Kids Reportedly Get $8 Million A Year Allowance. 25-04-'15

According to the New York Post, Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson take home an allowance of $8 million a year. The publication adds that the $8 million is separate from the $1 million-plus Katherine Jackson receives to watch over the kids.

Expenses include Prince’s $30,000 yearly tuition at a private school and the six-figure yearly payout to house, educate and treat Paris at a therapeutic boarding school in Utah following her 2013 suicide attempt.

A family insider tells the Post that Prince has put his money towards a personal cause with more than $50,000 in custom-made jewelry and other gifts on at least three different girlfriends.

The Jackson siblings shell out about $350,000 to vacation in Hawaii and Vegas annually after paying for bodyguards, relatives, chauffeurs and first-class airfare, among other things.

While Paris buys gifts such as footwear and athletic gear for her friends at school, Blanket pays $200 an hour for karate lessons and more for a personal trainer.

MJ and the Kids

“These things that they’re doing they are mostly paying for themselves, with their own money. Look, they also get $15,000 to $20,000 every month just in walking-around money. No one else has that kind of dough around here,” a source shared with the Post. “This is why you have had so much of the fighting going on in the family. But the battles have calmed since their uncles have finally found consistent work and everyone has pretty much left [Katherine] alone about money.”

While Michael’s kids aren’t shy about using their money to get what they want, Jackson family members believe Prince, Paris and Blanket are a lot more frugal than their legendary father was.

Michael Jackson's Engineer Pal Helped King Of Pop Capture The Strangest Sounds. 23-04-'15

Matt ForgerMichael Jackson once turned brother tito's home and car collection into a drum machine in the search for the perfect beat.

The King of Pop's longtime engineer Matt Forger tells WENN he often joined the pop star on missions to find sounds for album tracks, but as a car enthusiast, he was more than a little concerned when Jackson started banging pieces of wood on Tito's classic Model T Ford.

Forger, who worked closely with Jackson on albums from 'Bad' to 'Dangerous', admits it was always a fun adventure when his boss was on the hunt for a specific sound.

He explains, "You'd never know where you were gonna end up. I remember one time Michael said, 'We're gonna go to my brother's house, and we're just gonna walk around. Bring the portable recorder
"Tito had some antique Model T cars and what does Michael do, but picks up a piece of wood... and he was tapping on the body, tapping on the fender, tapping on the door.

"We went into the house and he found a broom and started banging on a table, on the staircase. He had this ability of wanting to hear a sound and knowing that if he searched for it long enough he'd find it. This happened many times... He would bang about and he loved antique things... In his mind, he knew he was looking for something he hadn't heard before and he'd find it and say, 'That's the sound'."

Forger tells WENN the sounds were very important to Jackson's live show as each would serve to prompt the pop star to move a certain way, inspiring his famous dance moves.

Michael Jackson's 'Heal The World' Girl Grew Up To Become A War Widow. 22-04-'15

The little girl who provided the magical "make the world a better place" line at the beginning of Michael Jackson's 'Heal The World' anthem grew up to become the widow of an Iraq War hero.

Ashley Farrell beat out over 100 kids to become the sweet-voiced girl who insisted "we have to think about making the world a better place for our children and our children's children" just before the King of Pop started singing on the 1992 hit, and she went on to become one of the youngsters who joined Jackson onstage at the Super Bowl Half-Time Show in Pasadena, California in 1993.

Ashley Farrell

But, a decade after the magical moment, her life was turned upside down when her husband, Evan Ashcraft, was killed in action after he was part of the unit which tracked down and killed one of dictator Saddam Hussein's sons.

Jackson's long-time engineer, Matt Forger, who recorded little Ashley's thoughts about the world for Jackson's song, says, "Michael said, 'You have to get children talking about the world and the environment and it's gotta be honest...', so I went to schools, parks, I called every family friend that I knew that had children... I must have recorded 125 children and I was with Ashley, who was a relative of my wife's, and she went into this thing, and at that moment I said, 'I got it'. I knew instantly, after working months on this, that that was the recording. I played it for Michael and he said, 'Wow, that's perfect!'"

"The 'Dangerous' album came out and there was a snafu and her name wasn't on the credits and what happened was Michael was doing the Super Bowl performance, so I made a call and I said, 'Look, this little girl didn't get her name on the album and you know what would be really good - it would be really nice if she could get a moment of recognition', so she ended up being the little girl standing right next to Michael on the stage as he performed 'Heal The World' surrounded by young fans.

"She was never paid, because she signed off on the recording, but when the record company discovered her name had been left off the initial album credits, they put together a gift bag full of items. She was thrilled. The error was corrected in reprinting's of the album."

Forger adds, "Michael never knew that little girl grew up to be a war widow and to this day it's astonishing to think this was the girl who said, 'We have to make the world a better place'.

"Her husband was attempting to do this when he was killed in action. I don't know if he was the actual sniper who shot and killed Saddam's son but he was a part of the unit, and then he himself was killed. Ashley was devastated... We're not all that close now but I believe that after some difficult years, she has now moved on with her life and has a significant other."

Celebrate Earth Day With Michael Jackson’s 'Earth Song'. 22-04-'15

Today, April 22, 2015, marks the 45th anniversary of Earth Day – a day dedicated to broadening, diversifying, and mobilising the environmental movement. More than 1 billion people around the globe now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the completion and release of Michael’s Jackson 'Earth Song' – first made public in June 1995 as part of Jackson’s 'HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I' studio album. I thought I’d take the timely opportunity to mention the song, as well as some of the subsequent works done in honor of/to document and analyse the song, in this short article.

As author Joseph Vogel describes in his must-read book, 'Earth Song: Inside Michael Jackson’s Magnum Opus', the Jackson masterpiece is “unlike anything heard before in popular music.”

'Earth Song' would become the most successful environmental anthem ever recorded, topping the charts in over fifteen countries and eventually selling over ten million copies. Yet critics never quite knew what to make of it. Its unusual fusion of opera, rock, gospel, and blues sounded like nothing on the radio. It defied almost every expectation of a traditional anthem. In place of nationalism, it envisioned a world without division or hierarchy. In place of religious dogma or humanism, it yearned for a broader vision of ecological balance and harmony. In place of simplistic propaganda for a cause, it was a genuine artistic expression. In place of a jingly chorus that could be plastered on a T-shirt or billboard, it offered a wordless, universal cry.”

To celebrate Earth Day Jamon Bull, co-founder and co-host of Michael Jackson podcast The MJCast, wrote a fantastic short-form article dedicated to promoting Jackson’s efforts to heal the world we live in.

Mark AtchisonDancer Mark Atchison Talks About Touring With MJ. 22-04-'15

Many lives have changed since Mr Smith’s heyday in the late 1980s.

But only a handful can claim their connection with the famous night club was truly life-changing.

Mark Atchison, better known in the town as Bov, enjoyed a whirlwind three months supporting music legend Michael Jackson on his Dangerous European tour as well as coaching Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson and still inspires dancers in Warrington today.

But he says his success is all thanks to the dancers at Mr Smith’s who helped him turn his life around.

The 45-year-old added: “Back in 1988 I was quite badly behaved and had just come out of prison after serving a four-month sentence for fighting.

“I didn’t know where I was going in life and got dragged to Mr Smith’s for a dance class with the Hitman and Her dancers by a mate.

“They smashed me all over the place with their moves and I apologised to Clive Donaldson, who was running it, for being so bad and asked if I could go back again.”

After improving with the help of the Hitman and Her crew, Mark became part of the show and for the next two-and-a-half years was a regular face dancing alongside his friend Jaffa, from Runcorn.

The pair admit they loved being on the show but were keen to find a way to make it pay and started asking acts on the show if they needed dancers.

Their persistence led to them supporting Everybody’s Free popstar Rozalla on tour in Germany but they could not believe it when she switched labels to the same one as Michael Jackson and was asked to join him on his European tour in 1992.

The Orford dance teacher said: “It was 39 shows in 15 different countries over three months and we went from dancing in front of 10,000 to 110,000 people in Paris.

“When we got to Wembley we invited Michaela Strachan to watch us because her and Pete Waterman always had a soft spot for us as we were council estate kids and she said she cried because she was so proud of us.

“When we came off stage in Barcelona, we were told Michael Jackson wanted to see us and he thanked me for touring with him which I thought was hilarious.

“He said he had seen me dance and it was amazing. I was 21 at the time and didn’t know what to say and then we got a picture with him which is one of my most prized possessions.

“It was one of those moments you can’t forget and the Michael Jackson dancers were asking us for moves we had learnt in Warrington. You can’t make that up!”

Rozalla and her dancers were invited to support the Thriller singer across North and South America but sadly the opportunity was turned down as Rozalla wanted to work on a new album.

It meant Mark had to return home but despite a taste of life supporting music royalty, he has never forgotten his roots and is still thankful to Mr Smith’s.

“My dance career lasted 30 years on the back of what I learnt at Mr Smith’s and what happened in there changed my life completely”, Mark adds.

“It’s not an exaggeration to say I was going nowhere until I took that class and what I learnt I’ve been able to pass on to others like George Sampson.

“I’ve been surprised how devastating it feels to see it demolished and can’t imagine what it’s going to be like going past and not seeing it there.

“But my Mr Smith’s memories will always be pretty strong.”

Mitchell BeckloffJudge To Decide If Choreographer Can Sue Jackson Estate. 21-04-'15

Lawyers for a dancer-choreographer who alleges he was molested by Michael Jackson told a judge today that their client should be able to file a late creditor’s claim against the singer’s estate, but attorneys for the estate’s executors said the case should be dismissed because the petitioner waited too long to bring the action.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff did not immediately rule on the future of Wade Robson’s petition, but said he would have a decision within a few days.

Robson, 32, alleges Jackson molested him between 1990-97, though he testified in the singer’s 2005 child molestation trial -- which involved another boy and ended with Jackson’s acquittal -- that the entertainer did not abuse him.

Robson needs a judge’s permission to bring a late probate court claim because his court papers were filed in May 2013, nearly four years after the entertainer’s June 25, 2009, overdose death at age 50.

Maryann Marzano, one of Robson’s lawyers, said the facts of her client’s case “cry out” for equity to be applied so that he is not deprived to his right to have a full hearing rather than see his case disposed of in a single motion.

Attorney Jonathan Steinsapir, on behalf of the estate, countered that limits must be placed on when claims can be filed, irrespective of how serious their nature, so that others cannot keep bringing similar cases against the Jackson executors and other estates for years to come.

Marzano argued Robson’s case illustrates that there was no “ah, ha” moment for her client and that until he received therapy and realized he was molested by Jackson, he could not do anything sooner because he had been “brainwashed into believing it was consensual.”

In his most recent sworn statement filed in connection with his attempt to file a late probate claim against the singer’s estate, Robson says May 8, 2012, was a key date for him.

“I began to recognize for myself that Jackson had molested me,” Robson alleges. “It was on that date in my therapy session ... that I first spoke about the sexual activity I had with Jackson. This revelation initiated an enormous emotional, psychological and physiological upheaval in my life that continues until this day.”

Robson says his first of two nervous breakdowns occurred in April 2011, causing him to withdraw from a film project and begin seeking psychological help. “But I did not mention the sexual abuse because at that time I still did not see it as such,” Robson states in his court papers.

A second breakdown in March 2012 was a turning point, he says.

“As with my first breakdown, I experienced stress, anxiety, fear and depression,” Robson says. “I also began to imagine my son being subjected to the same sort of sexual acts I had been forced to commit with Jackson, and for the first time in my life I thought I might need to talk to someone about what Jackson and I had done together.”

Robson says waiting until 2012 to talk about his allegations reveals his state of mind.

“It speaks to the fear and paranoia I was dealing with in relation to who my abuser was and his massive celebrity status,” Robson says. “Jackson had made me think in terms of what would happen if I told anyone about the sexual conduct and then that person told someone else who then told the press.”

Beckloff said the only example he could find of Jackson intimidating Robson was when the singer allegedly told the petitioner that they could both go to jail if their relationship became public.

Attorney Henry Gradstein, who also represents Robson, said that even if the estate’s dismissal motion is granted, his client can proceed against the corporate arm Jackson established before his death.

Steinsapir said that if the dismissal motion is denied, the estate may seek relief from the 2nd District Court of Appeal.

Michael Jackson's Three Children Vow To Clear His Name In New Molestation Case. 19-04-'15

Prince, 18, and Paris, 17, both want to take the witness stand to speak up for the late king of pop in the multi-million-dollar civil action against his estate.

Their younger brother Blanket, 13, has also told relatives he wants to testify in court but he is likely to be barred because of his age.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff will decide next month whether to allow alleged abuse victims James Safechuck and Wade Robson to proceed with their lawsuits.

Former child actor Safechuck, 36, claims he was molested “more than 100 times” by Jackson after they appeared together in a Pepsi ad in 1988 when he was eight years old. His attorney adds in legal papers: “My client endured repeated acts of sexual abuse of a heinous nature and was brainwashed into believing they were acts of love.”

The lawsuit also claims Jackson held a mock “wedding” ceremony with the youngster as his “bride” and even presented the boy with a ring and a pretend marriage certificate.

MJ Kids

Michael Jackson’s children, Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II (Blanket).

Australian-born choreographer Robson, 32, who has worked with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, claims he was just seven when Jackson began preying on him.

At the singer’s 2005 criminal molestation trial, Robson said they “shared a bed for at least a year” but insisted Jackson never touched him “inappropriately”.

Now he has changed his story, claiming: “I lived in silence and denial.” Both men could see their cases thrown out on a technicality because they missed a statutory deadline by filing their claims more than a year after the star died, aged 50, in 2009.

But Judge Beckloff has indicated he is likely to allow the actions against Jackson’s estate – now estimated to be worth in excess of £1billion – to proceed next month.

Due to civil case rules in America, Safechuck and Robson’s attorneys will be allowed to introduce a wealth of evidence legally excluded from previous hearings.

Both say they have lined up multiple witnesses who will swear Jackson paid out more than £135million in “hush money” to as many as 20 alleged victims.

A Jackson family friend said unless his children give evidence about life with their father at their former Neverland home there would be “few, if any” witnesses on his behalf.

The friend said: “Prince and Paris absolutely refuse to believe he is guilty of anything more than trying to be a father figure to lonely kids who are now trying to get their hands on a slice of his fortune.

One Rose For Michael J.JacksonOne Rose For Michael Jackson Event 2015. 18-04-'15

Michael Jackson has been recognized throughout his life for his accomplishments, and six years after his death, the honorarium fires are still burning. Over the month of April, headlines related to Michael Jackson have been particularly popular due to an archive of unpublished interviews that included the King of Pop.

However, the celebration of Michael Jackson’s life, death, and achievements may not take the forms fans would first expect. The good news — everyone is invited to these Michael Jackson parties! On top of that, there is a circus involved!

Announced in March, the invitation is still open for the One Rose for Michael Jackson event. Promoted by the large fan group called the Michael Jackson Network, you can purchase one of the roses from a separate website via Paypal for $3 per rose. Betty Byrne’s Australian website, Michael’s Heart, also takes donations for the roses placed on Michael Jackson’s grave each year on June 25. The last day to buy roses is June 18.

The MJ Network states that in 2013, 13,447 red roses were placed on his grave by the One Rose for Michael Jackson organization. However, the roses do not stay on Michael Jackson’s grave for very long.

Betty Byrne states, “On June 26 in keeping with Michael's message we pay it forward, a large [percentage] of the roses are donated to various charities as well as being placed for the children at Babyland and Lulabyeland in Forest Lawn.”

John BrancaMichael Jackson’s Money Man Also Has Sony/ATV Side Gig. 17-04-'15

The man who holds the purse strings to Michael Jackson’s estate has also managed to carve out a lucrative side gig at the late singer’s music publishing company.

John Branca, a top entertainment lawyer and one of two executors for Jackson’s estate, sits on the board of Sony/ATV, which owns the bulk of the singer’s song catalog.

He also has landed a role as a senior adviser to parent Sony. His salary, which started at $500,000 in 2014, is set to rise to $1 million next year, according to emails leaked by Sony hackers.

Several sources tell The Post that Branca has sought a top role at Sony/ATV, which is run by CEO Martin Bandier, for some time but that Sony offered alternative arrangements instead.

His dual roles as a paid adviser to the Sony/ATV board of which he is also a member led to some hand wringing within the company, according to the emails that came to light this week on WikiLeaks.

Top Sony executive Nicole Seligman scratched her head trying to figure out to whom Branca should report without ruffling feathers.

She wrote in one email: “Bandier is awkward because Branca is on the Board (as is Bandier), the Board is awkward because he is on it, so why pay him to advise it?”
The fact that Branca wears more than one hat is also raising some questions among outside observers.

Branca, along with co-executor John McClain, is tasked with assuring the financial future of Jackson’s three children — with much of their income derived from the Gloved One’s song catalog.

Sony/ATV is co-owned by Jackson’s estate and Sony. The music venture has been expanding, including teaming with an investor consortium to acquire the publishing assets of EMI in 2012.

“It’s a serious conflict of interest,” said one person, referring to Branca’s two hats working for the kids and the company. “How can he be taking money from the asset that the kids own 50 percent of?”

Branca was said to be overseas and unreachable. His lawyer, Joel Katz, declined to comment.

But Branca’s supporters say he is only looking out for the Jackson family’s interests by getting even closer to their profit source. As a consultant to Sony, he can help maximize the value of the music assets, such as advising on the purchase of new catalogs.

Branca is one of the top lawyers in the field of music and is a partner in the law firm Ziffren Brittenham. He has represented the likes of The Beach Boys, The Doors and Berry Gordy, among others.

In his consulting role, Branca will provide “legal advice on matters related to music publishing, artist development and relationships, and other matters of importance,” according to the emails.

Safety Harbor Woman In Michael Jackson Video Sues Over Game Likeness. 16-04-'15

The Way You Make Me Feel Video Clip - On the setThe dancer who played Michael Jackson’s love interest in his 1987 video for his hit, 'The Way You Make Me Feel' is suing Nintendo and other companies responsible for a 2010 video game she claims uses her unauthorized likeness.

The game is called 'Michael Jackson: The Experience' and it’s a take on the then popular series of dance video games on the Nintendo Wii. Players use the controller to imitate the dance moves on screen and get scored based on their movements.

In the original music video, Safety Harbor resident Stephanie Thumbtzen under the stage name Tatiana Thumbtzen, played a thin, curly-haired bombshell Jackson chased after throughout the duration of the video.

The dance game shows an animated character wearing the same clothing as Jackson wore in the video alongside a woman in a black dress and black high heels. The woman in the game also has curly hair, same as Thumbtzen.

Thumbtzen’s lawsuit alleges the use of her likeness in the video has caused her permanent “financial and emotional harm” and is seeking financial damages as a result.

The lawsuit does not specify exactly how much Thumbtzen is seeking.

Michael Jackson: The ExperienceHer allegations that the video game uses her likeness will likely be called into question by attorneys for the plaintiffs including Jackson’s estate, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft Incorporated and others.

In the original music video Thumbtzen is indeed wearing a short black dress and has long curly hair. However, in the video game the character is wearing a black dress with sleeves and high heeled sandals. In the music video, Thumbtzen’s dress is sleeveless and she’s wearing high heeled boots.

The animated video game character also appears to have a larger build than the actual Thumbtzen and a larger bust.

Meanwhile, Jackson’s likeness is animated wearing the exact same clothing as the original music video.

It’s not clear whether the subtle changes were intentional to avoid such a lawsuit, but they will likely be used as a defense.

Thumbtzen has already used her work with Jackson to her financial advantage. She toured with the pop sensation for some time until she reportedly kissed him on stage.

In 2005 she wrote a book about her relationship with Jackson titled The Way He Made Me Feel. In 2011 she wrote another, Michael & Tatiana: The King of My Heart.
