Andre VannFake Jackson Nephew From Natick Facing Charges In Florida. 31-10-'15

A Natick man who posed as Michael Jackson’s nephew to scam a woman out of more than $2,000 in Natick last year is in trouble with the law again – this time in Kissimmee, Florida.

Natick police arrested Andre Vann, 31, at the probation department in Framingham District Court on a fugitive from justice warrant from Osceloa County, Florida.

The charges originate from 2012. According to a Kissimmee police report, the victim, an Oklahoma woman, met Vann, who identified himself as Gepetto Jackson, on modeling websites. Vann falsely identified himself as Jermaine Jackson’s son and Michael Jackson’s nephew.

Vann told the woman he was recruiting models for a television show for the Walt Disney Company called “The Garcia Twins.”

The woman flew to Florida and met Vann several times, police said. Vann asked the woman for money.

“He told her that he would need an immediate investment,” according to the police report. “(The victim) stated that she thought this was a legitimate opportunity and would be good to advance her career in modeling/acting. (The victim) stated that on the same day, Aug. 17, 2012, she sent Jackson $1,500 via Money Gram.”

Throughout the next few weeks, Vann repeatedly said he needed more money for production costs such as clothing, makeup and camera equipment. He repeatedly told the victim that all of the money she invested would be refunded by Disney, and she would receive an additional sum, according the police report.

In all, between August and October 2012, the victim and her husband gave Vann $67,500, including the final $5,000 payment on Oct. 25, 2012, according to the police report.

“After a few days, Jackson began not answering phone calls from (the victim) and seemed to be avoiding any contact with her,” according to the report.

The victim researched Vann online and discovered the ruse for which he has been accused in several states.

Kissimmee police investigated and discovered deposits into Vann’s account. They said he used a large amount of money for multiple floor seats for Orlando Magic games. While buying tickets, Vann identified himself as Gepetto Jackson to the Magic staff, who put him on the Jumbotron, identifying him as a celebrity.

Police said Vann also used the money to rent numerous cars and limos.

Disney denied any knowledge of the television show Vann told the woman they were working on. Police also contacted Jermaine Jackson, who confirmed that Vann is not a relative.

Although the investigation occurred in 2012, the warrant was not issued until recently due to authorities trying to figure out in which jurisdiction to charge Vann.

Kissimmee police charged Vann with one count each of a scheme to defraud a person of more than $50,000 and grand theft of more than $20,000.

The Natick case was similar, authorities said. In that case, he is also alleged to have met a woman online and claimed to be Gepetto Jackson. He said he wanted to hire her as a model and hire her as a regional manager for his clothing company. In that case, he scammed the woman out of $2,100. He pleaded guilty last year.

In Natick District Court on Friday, prosecutor Susan Harris asked Judge Matine Carroll to hold Vann without bail. She said Florida authorities plan on bringing Vann back to Florida to face the charges.

Vann’s lawyer, Christopher Shannon, argued for his release. Vann just settled another case in Florida and had his probation transferred to Massachusetts. He said authorities never mentioned the charges while in Florida.

“He’s very perplexed and dismayed,” Shannon said.

Carroll ordered Vann held without bail. Vann then waived his right to fight rendition. Vann is due back in court on Nov. 20 for a status hearing.

Prince Jackson NOT Getting DNA Test To Find Out If Michael Or Arnie Klein Is Real Father. 29-10-'15

Prince JacksonPrince Jackson is NOT demanding a post-mortem DNA test to find out if his biological father is Michael Jackson or Dr. Arnie Klein, despite a new webloid report. Prince himself shot down the erroneous claims on Twitter on Thursday (October 22).

Klein was a close Jackson family friend, in addition to being Michael’s physician, and it was widely speculated that he was the real father of Michael’s children Prince, Paris and Blanket. As Gossip Cop reported, Klein died last Thursday at the age of 70. But just one day prior to his death, Prince was called out on Twitter by a user who wrote, “Everyone knows you are a Rowe-Klein NOT A Jackson!! Yall should stop trying to put on a FAKE front and get real.” Rowe refers to Debbie Rowe, who is Prince and Paris Jackson’s biological mother, as well as Klein’s former assistant.

Prince responded at the time, “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb’ I was raised by my dad with my brother and sister.” His message seemingly indicated that while he wasn’t 100 percent about the identity of his biological father, Prince considers Michael to be his dad. But now, a so-called “source” tells RadarOnline, Prince is “demanding” that he find out “who his real flesh and blood is.”

The questionable “insider” adds, “Prince is demanding to have a DNA test done on Arnie’s body before he is buried to determine who is biological father is once and for all.” However, the webloid’s story is completely false, as is evident by Prince’s recent tweets in which he assured his followers that DNA bears no significance on paternity.

Prince wrote, “Ok so I guess everyone took my last tweet and twisted it around (as usual) my dad is my dad through and through same with my siblings.” He later added, “The tweet was just to let the people who would like to argue otherwise that their accusations don’t phase me or my siblings.”

Michael JacksonMichael Number One Of The 13 Top-Earning Dead Celebrities. 27-10-'15

In the time since Michael Jackson died suddenly in 2009, the financial story that played out has been nothing short of a thriller. The King of Pop has earned more than $1 billion before taxes since then, enough to pay off his personal debts and then some.

This year Jackson again leads our Halloween-spooky list of the 13 top-earning dead celebrities, pulling in $115 million over the past year. The main drivers of his afterlife fortune: Vegas Cirque du Soleil show Michael Jackson One, the Mijac Music catalogue, recorded music sales and half of the Sony /ATV publishing empire.

“When a composer [or] a performer dies, that’s it,” says Josh Rubenstein, National Chair of Trusts and Estates at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. “It’s no more … once they’re dead and there can’t be anymore [work], all of the sudden everybody comes in and says, ‘Oh, we’ve got to get this guy.’”

Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch Is Now Available On Alibaba's Taobao. 26-10-'15

In May, Michael Jackson’s former California ranch Neverland went on the market for $100 million. Now Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba is bringing the 2,700-acre property near Santa Barbara to China’s superrich.

Neverland, now called Sycamore Valley Ranch, will be available on Alibaba’s auction site Taobao Paimai starting from Oct 27. The estate has an initial bidding price of 500 million yuan($78.7 million). The company will also help arrange property tours for potential buyers, according to the ranch’s introduction page.

Listing the property fits with the platform’s goal of connecting sellers with Chinese consumers who have an increasing appetite for unique items or assets, an Alibaba spokesperson said in a note. The one-day auction also preludes this year’s 11.11 shopping festival, and Alibaba has made selling global products the top theme.

This is not the first time Alibaba tries to sell luxurious residential properties to Chinese wealthies. In July, it listed 1,500 high-end villas and apartments with a combined value of $258 million in southeastern Portugal on Paimai.

But Michael Jackson’s onetime ranch certainly dwarfs them all. The property, which retains the iconic floral clock, railroad tracks and train station from Jackson’s ownership, has about 22 structures on it. The 12,000-square feet main house has six bedrooms plus an attached staff quarters. There is also a swimming pool, a basketball court, a tennis court and a 50-seat movie theatre.

Judith HillJudith Hill Reveals What Michael Jackson Was Really Like. 25-10-'15

Judith Hill probably isn’t a name that many of you know, but you probably should considering she has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, and John Legend and featured in Oscar-winning documentary, ‘20 Feet From Stardom’, before the release of her debut solo album, ‘Back In Time’.

We mean, that is definitely no small feat.

The amazing singer also participated in the US TV series of ‘The Voice’, sparking complaints and backlash against the show when she was eliminated from the competition, which must have made her departure a little easier for her to swallow.

With such an amazing back-catalogue of musical legends listed as her collaborators, when we caught up with Judith we just had to get all the goss on what it is like working with literal superstars – oh, as well as find out first-hand what the iconic Michael Jackson was really like as a person.

The 31-year-old was selected as MJ’s duet partner for his ‘This Is It’ concert tour, practicing closely with him in the months leading up to his sudden death on June 25th 2009, and Judith attracted global attention when she performed at the star’s memorial at the Staples Centre in downtown Los Angeles on July 7th of the same year, leading on his song ‘Heal The World’, and impressing fans across the globe.

Discussing what it was like working with Michael, Judith admitted that he was a little intimidating but mostly just pretty bloomin’ inspiring, telling us: “He’s an incredible icon. You just pinch yourself when you’re on stage and have the opportunity to really see greatness and experience greatness.

“Michael is everything in that way and I think for me at the time, coming out of seniot college, I was very green – I hadn’t really done a huge tour. Working with Michael Jackson was an experience, it blew my mind because everything about him really caught on.

“His spirit made me jam in what he believed in, it really inspired me and showed me that there’s so much that can be done as an artists, not just as a great singer; how much power you have, and seeing it first-hand from Michael, was life-changing.”

We can only imagine.

And with Judith being the one to work with Michael the most in the months before he passed away she knew him incredibly well on a personal level, adding: “He’s very sweet, a very, very kind person. Just very gracious and warm-hearted."

“He was very much a perfectionist, he was an expert and he inspired us to be experts. It was very much a great challenge of how to become greater and he’s very intimidating in that way because you’re sharing a stage with Michael Jackson, but he really encouraged me."

“He directed me in a lot of things and I was very excited to see him as a singer.”

The Estate Of Michael JacksonMichael Jackson’s Estate Explores Sony Buyout. 25-10-'15

Are the Jackson kids going to be a billion dollars richer this New Year?

The estate of the late Michael Jackson co-owns the world’s biggest music publisher, Sony/ATV, which spins off around $100 million in profit each year under the aegis of its popular chief executive, Martin Bandier.

The asset is being evaluated by its two owners to figure out who buys out whom.

Sony Corp. has hired investment bank Allen & Co. to work on valuing its portion of the lucrative asset. The Japan-headquartered consumer-electronics giant recently triggered an option to acquire the 50 percent stake owned by Jackson’s estate.

But Sony isn’t the only one coming up with a valuation. Jackson’s estate, repped by music lawyer John Branca, is also said to be talking about finding backers to buy out Sony. Most estimates put the Sony/ATV asset at around $2 billion to $2.5 billion.

The difficult challenge facing Branca is persuading the Jackson kids (Paris, Prince and Blanket) to forgo the giant check and double down and allow him to oversee the acquisition of the entire company with fresh backers.

Sources tell On the Money that probate courts would likely have to OK any decisions made on behalf of Jackson’s estate.

As if things couldn’t get more complicated, there’s the side issue of the EMI catalog, which is owned separately but managed by Sony/ATV. A change of control might trigger an exit for the owners of the catalog, who potentially could move somewhere else.

Robert Burns The MusicalBest Laid Schemes For Moray Burns Musical. 23-10-'15

A Moray musical based on the life of Robert Burns – which was devised by the King of Pop – could soon take the world by storm.

‘Robert Burns: The Musical’ was the brainchild of American music legend Michael Jackson and his famous friend, David Gest.

But it took the Lossiemouth-based Rock Academy Performing Arts group to write and perfect it.

After successful shows in Edinburgh this summer, producers have received requests to bring the production to the USA, China and Dubai.

And in a nod to the deceased pop star, one performance in Los Angeles will take place in a venue made legendary by its appearance in one of Michael Jackson’s most well-known music videos.

Co-owner of the Moray company, Tish Tindall, said: “We have formed a plan for the show that involves taking it to New York and Los Angeles next spring, then further afield beyond that.

Tish Tindall

Tish Tindall hopes her production Robert Burns The Musical will bring his messages right up to date with a little help from a man who counted Michael Jackson as a friend.

“We have spoken with the Downtown Palace theatre in LA, where part of Michael Jackson’s 'Thriller' video was filmed.

“It was in the scene where he was eating popcorn in a cinema, which has become very well known.

“It’s great to have that reference to Michael Jackson as it was a huge driving force behind the show.”

As well as attracting the eye of international musical theatre bigwigs, the show has also drawn comment from Scottish arts leaders.

Fiona Hyslop, the Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Europe and External Affairs, attended a production of the show in January in Aberdeen.

The MSP said she “admired the hard work and professionalism” that had gone into the musical, which “gives our national bard a modern day twist”.

Theatre legend Dame Evelyn Glennie also heaped praise on the production.

The Methlick-born percussionist said: “I’m delighted to see these students bring to life what had only been dreamt of by Michael Jackson and David Gest.”

Michael Jackson's Doctor Arnold Klein Dies. 23-10-'15

Dr. Arnold Klein, dermatologist to the late Michael Jackson and other Hollywood celebrities, has died in Palm Springs, California.

The Riverside County sheriff-coroner’s office says the 70-year-old Klein died Thursday evening (October 23) at Eisenhower Medical Center.

The coroner’s brief press release does not state the cause of death but does not list any investigation. Messages seeking comment were left at Klein’s office.

His patients included Elizabeth Taylor, Dolly Parton, Carrie Fisher and others. His medical specialty was the use of injectable drugs such as Botox and Restylane to ease wrinkles and sagging skin.

Klein treated Jackson for more than 25 years before the pop star’s drug-related death in 2009. Federal drug agents investigating the singer’s prescriptions ultimately cleared Klein. Another doctor, Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

Jackie Lombard, French Concert Promoter, Claims Michael Gave Her This Drawing. 22-10-'15

Jackie LombardIn the November issue of the French version of Vanity Fair, Jackie Lombard claims she became very close to Michael and remembers how she found out how an amazing drawer Michael was.

In her attic, she found a souvenir from the King of Pop: A drawing of a little boy in a corner with the text: “Before you judge me, try hard to love me, look within your heart then ask, have you seen my childhood”.

Lombard recalls: ” I can’t remember exactly when in my relationship with Michael I discovered he could draw like this. We were in Paris, at my home or in his hotel room, I can’t remember. We had nothing to do. We were simply together and we were talking. Then he started to draw this, just like that. […] When I saw that I told him “Michael, people need to know you can draw like this. You can’t keep this for yourself.””

Lombard also claims that she did every single request the singer was asking when on tour in Paris like having his dressing-room in the “Clinique de Boulogne” (private hospital) next to Park des Princes where Michael was performing.

Michael Jackson's Kids Were Always Subject To Rumours About Their Parentage. 22-10-'15

Prince JacksonThe paternity of Michael's kids has always been a topic of speculation. Rumours circulated that Michael's dermatologist Arnold Klein was in fact the father of Michael's kids. Now Michael's son Prince is adding fuel to the fire.

It was on Twitter where the rumours started. After one user tweeted Prince saying "Everyone knows you are a Rowe-Klein not a Jackson!"

In Prince's reply he didn't deny it but instead said "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. I was raised by my dad with my brother and sister."

The tweet doesn't deny that Michael isn't his biological father but instead confirms that Michael is the only 'father' he had ever known.

Prince, real name Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, and his younger sister Paris were both born to Debbie and Michael, while Blanket was born via a surrogate mother and Michael's sperm.

T-PainMichael Jackson Was A Big Fan Of T-Pain’s 'Bartender'. 22-10-'15

T-Pain’s rapid rise to fame in the early 2000's led him on an incredible path that eventually brought him to the home of his idol, Michael Jackson. The rapper turned singer popped up on ESPN’s Highly Questionable yesterday (October 21) to promote his upcoming album and was asked what moment has stood out to him during the course of his career.

“Probably getting invited and sitting in and having a chat in Michael Jackson’s house,” he said. “I think that was my most proud moment to see my idol actually call my management team and say he wanted me to come to his house. I sat with him and he told me that 'Bartender' was the last CD bought in the last four years…I didn’t cry in front of him because I'm a G, but when I left there was maybe one or two tears.”

In September, T-Pain announced that his upcoming album, 'Stoicville: The Phoenix', will drop in December. Pain hasn’t dropped an album since 2011’s 'Revolver' but made a return to the scene with his spring 2015 mixtape, 'The Iron Way'. With his new album, T-Pain promises to take his listeners to “new levels of T-Pain..One banger at a time!”

Plymouth Man Releases Unique New Biography Of Michael Jackson After Gaining Exclusive Access.

Making Michael Book CoverFive years of exhaustive research including interviews with more than 60 associates of one of the world's biggest pop stars has lead to the publication of a new biography of Michael Jackson by a Plymouth writer.

Mike Smallcombe's new book, 'Making Michael', explores the career of one of the most successful, enigmatic and controversial entertainers of all time.

It is a true labour of love, the product of over five years of exhaustive research into Jackson's career, personality and professional relationships.

As part of his research Mike interviewed more than sixty of Jackson's associates including managers, lawyers, music executives, producers, musicians and engineers - many of whom are speaking about their experiences publicly for the first time - providing exclusive access to one of the biggest-selling recording artists in history.

Mike, a former Plymouth University student and long-time Argyle fan, twice travelled to Los Angeles, 'The Entertainment Capital of the World', to conduct some of his interviews face to face, and to get a feel for the city where Jackson made most of his music.

In California Mike met up with Matt Forger, one of Jackson's longest serving and most loyal collaborators, who contributed a foreword to the book.

Making Michael takes readers into the studio with the King of Pop, charting the creation of record-breaking albums including 'Thriller', 'Bad', 'Dangerous' and 'HIStory' and the twists and turns that occurred along the way. Untold stories, revelations and secrets finally see the light of day as Jackson's career outside the studio is also examined.

Mike remains objective and doesn't shy away from exploring Jackson's ruthless traits, his addictions, his fall outs, the relentless pursuit of perfectionism, the financial chaos and those shocking final weeks.

Mike said: "The first question most people ask me when I speak about the book is, 'So are you a Michael Jackson fan'? The truth is, I couldn't have written this book if I wasn't inspired by his music.

"After Michael's death, I discovered that there wasn't a book based solely on the 45-year career of a man many believe to be the greatest entertainer of all time. Most of the books that were available focused on the trials and the tribulations.

"There were so many areas of Michael's career to explore, and several questions I wanted to find the answers to...how did Michael and his collaborators make these record-breaking albums...and what was Michael like as a person away from the public eye?

"Others gaps included Michael's fall out with Sony Music, his movie dreams, his work in those secretive last five years of his life and the preparations for 'This Is It', the tour he was preparing for when he died.

"The more I thought about it, the more confident I became that I could take on the challenge of writing this book which did not exist.

"I knew I had to offer something completely new, to discover the man Michael's friends and associates knew, and to uncover the untold stories and secrets behind this enthralling, yet turbulent career. 'The Making of Michael'."

'Making Michael' is available now from retailers online including Amazon and can be ordered at bookstores.

Mike Smallcombe spent his youth living in both Germany and Cornwall, before graduating with a degree in English Language from Plymouth University.

He then relocated to London where he completed his journalist training before returning to the South West, where he joined the staff at Devon and Cornwall Media.

Thriller Video ClipThe 10 Best Werewolf Transformations From Film And TV. 19-10-'15

Who didn't get the willies the first time they watched Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' music video? Everyone did! The Vincent Price monologue. The ghoulish, iconic dance moves. And let's not forget when Jackson transformed into a hairy, howling beast! Absolute classic.

The craft of the werewolf transformation, like all movie magic, has had a pretty impressive trek through popular fiction. In the 80's, the scenes in which characters became hounds of hell were created with gruesome practically effects featuring lots of latex, makeup and fur. Since the dawn of CGI and its subsequent scaling back, we've seen some pretty impressive depictions of that harrowing moment when the moon is full and everybody starts scrounging for silver bullets.

Michael Jackson's homage to the horror genre with this unforgettable pop song 'Thriller'. Jackson's transformation into a hairy, whisker-laden creature is depicted with loving gusto. But let's set all that aside, if it's been a minute, now is the time to revisit this macabre masterpiece.

Here below are the 10 best werewolf transformations:

1. Thriller
2. American Werewolf in London
3. The Howling
4. Teen Wolf
5. Wolf
6. Van Helsing
7. The Wolfman
