Michael Jackson's Alleged 'Secret Lover' Says He Was 'Passionate And Loved Women' 31-01-'19

Shana Mangatal
Shana Mangatal

He was one of the biggest pop stars ever but despite the success Michael Jackson's career was marred by controversy over alleged incidents of sexual assault.

But now a woman, who claims to have been the singer's 'secret lover', has come forward to defend her alleged partner after allegations of sex abuse against children have resurfaced.

Shana Mangatal says she was in a relationship with the entertainer in the 90s and insists he was innocent and only interested in women.

Speaking to The Sun Online - the woman claims she dated the King of Pop following his divorce from Lisa Marie Presley and that they apparently spent the night together.

Shana said: "He was definitely experienced - you could tell he had done this before - even though I had not at that point. And you could tell he loved women.

"He was very loving and passionate."

The mystery woman also took the opportunity to defend the Thriller singer over allegations made by Wade Robson and James Safechuck in the new documentary, 'Leaving Neverland'.

Both men claim in the film they were abused by Jackson as children.

"I think it's awful - these two boys who are accusing him of these things in the documentary were two of his best friends, who he really cared for," Shana said.

"They were loving towards him and he was loving towards them, but in a pure and innocent way. He would never think that they of all people would turn against him..."

"To him sleeping in the same bed as kids, hanging out it was all so normal.

"He was just so naive about it all and he didn't realise that these kids had parents and some of them didn't have the best motives...

"He would be heartbroken about this - but he would never blame the children."

Jordy Chandler, 13, was the first person to come forward with allegations of abuse against Jackson, in 1993.

The singer's home was raided by police as part of the investigation, but no charges were brought against the pop star who settled the case out of court with a $23 million agreement, with no admittance of guilt.

'Leaving Neverland' debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, earlier this month and the film, which contains allegations against Jackson, has been labelled a 'public lynching' by the singer's family.

The film is set to air on Channel 4 and HBO later this year.

Michael Jackson’s Brother Jermaine Hits Back At ‘Nonsense’ Leaving Neverland' Documentary: ‘Let The Man Rest’. 30-01-'19

Jermaine JacksonJermaine Jackson has branded a recent documentary which explores allegations of sexual abuse against his brother Michael as ‘nonsense’. The new documentary, titled 'Leaving Neverland', details the experiences of two young boys, James Safechuck, 10, and Wade Robson, seven, who, now in their thirties, claim they were sexually abused by Michael Jackson. The documentary premiered at Sundance Film Festival, with the Jackson Estate condemning the film as a ‘tabloid character assassination’.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Jermaine Jackson hit back at the documentary – pointing out how Wade Robson previously defended Michael in court when the popstar was on trial in 2005, where he was acquitted.

Speaking on the show, Jermaine said: ‘What has happened people don’t know is Wade changed his story that he maintained before and after Michael’s death. He tried to go out and shop a book deal, no publisher would touch it. ‘He even sued the estate $1.5 billion, it was tossed out of court. He wanted to go for the head choreography part of Cirque du Soleil, he was turned down from that. So what was left for him to do was to do a documentary, so he gets in front of a camera with a bunch of people and spews out all these nonsense statements.

‘That’s when everything changed when he was turned down from the choreography part.’ Piers asked how sure Jermaine Jackson can be Michael is innocent considering he wasn’t there, which sparked a particularly emotional response. ‘Piers I am a thousand per cent sure because Michael was tried by a jury of his peers and he was acquitted on all of this because there was no real evidence,’ Jermaine said. ‘There was nothing there. And I will say this, our family are tired. We’re very tired.

‘Let this man rest. He did a lot for the world, let him rest. I’ll just say this, there is no truth to this documentary. You look at the series of events of Wade shopping book deals, the lawsuit and, not to say it, but he was very close to the family. He even went out with two of my nieces.’

He added: ‘We’re living in a time where people can say anything and it’s taken as truth. Under oath he said what he said, they would rather believe a documentary than looking at what was said under oath, under a judge, jury, everything.’ Jermaine also stated Wade was a close family friend who ‘took part in barbecues’ with them. Asked if he’ll be taking legal action against the documentary, Jermaine replied: ‘That’s something for the estate. And at the same time, we lost Michael, we lost our father, we’re still mourning. We lost a lot. Just leave us alone. Leave him alone. Let him rest. Please. ‘Let him rest. He deserves to rest.’

The film’s director, Dan Reed, has since responded to the Jackson Estate’s statement to The Hollywood Reporter, refuting their claims he ‘characterized’ Michael. In response, Reed said: ‘A four-hour piece, is that a tabloid? I didn’t characterize Jackson at all in the film – I think if you watch it you’ll have noticed that it’s a story about these two families and Jackson is an element of that story. ‘But I don’t seek to characterize him at all. I don’t comment on Jackson. It’s not a film about Michael…. The film itself is an account of sexual abuse, how sexual abuse happens and then how the consequences play out later in life.’

'Leaving Neverland' is set to premiere on HBO and Channel 4 in the spring.

Talun Zeitoun Defends Michael. 30-01-'19

Most fans will recognize Talun Zeitoun as the 9 year old boy posing with Michael at the centerfold of the HIStory World Tour programme. His relationship to Michael was like that of a brother, spending the first 14 years of his life heavily around Michael’s presence.

His mother, Janet Zeitoun, was Michael’s hair stylist from the 1980's until the early 2000's. She was so close to Michael that when Talun was born in 1987, Michael sent over a limo to her house filled with gifts. As she brought Talun to work most days, he grew up on the sets of Michael’s music videos, playing with toys in his dressing room, and often welcoming Michael into their house so he could get his hair done.

Zeitoun has now come out to staunchly defend Michael in the latest round of allegations that have been brought to the publics attention through the highly biased film ‘Leaving Neverland’. Zeitoun believes that if Michael was anything that the film describes him as, then he would have known about it.

Michael with Talun ZeitounIn 1995, this photograph of Michael with Talun Zeitoun became a full-page centerfold in the HIStory World Tour book.

He talks about his time with Michael, how the King of Pop treated him and how this documentary aims to capitalize on his fame and for those involved to make money. He urges everyone to seek the truth with regards to how Michael has been depicted in the film.

“Let’s be clear: Michael Jackson showed up. He faced public interviews, he answered difficult-to-stomach questions, he agreed to interrogative documentaries, he withstood a 10-year FBI investigation, and he appeared in an eighteen-month criminal trial until he was acquitted having been found not guilty on all fourteen child molestation and abuse-related accounts.”

James IngramR&B singer and songwriter James Ingram has died at the age of 66. The musician, best known for working with Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones, lost his battle with brain cancer on Tuesday (January 29).

According to TMZ, Ingram had fought with the disease for a lengthy period. Reacting to the sad news, actress and choreographer Debbie Allen said: ‘I have lost my dearest friend and creative partner James Ingram to the Celestial Choir. ‘He will always be cherished, loved and remembered for his genius, his love of family and his humanity. I am blessed to have been so close. We will forever speak his name.’ Ingram was nominated for 12 Grammy's and won best R&B performance by a duo or group for his duet with Michael McDonald, 'Yah Mo Be There' and R&B performance for 100 Ways.

The songwriter famously co-wrote Michael’s classic hit 'PYT', which was released in 1982 and featured on the King of Pop’s iconic 'Thriller' album. Many noticed James’s absence at a tribute concert for Quincy in Los Angeles last September, with Patti Austin performing their chart-topping duet, 'Baby Come To Me', without him. James earned a second number one hit in 1990 with his single, 'I Don’t Have The Heart'.

Rest in Peace James Ingram.

Jackson Family Condemns New Documentary, Calling It A ‘Public Lynching’. 28-01-'19

Michael Jackson's family members said Monday that they are "furious" that two men who accuse him of sexually abusing them as boys have received renewed attention because of a new documentary about them. The family released a statement denouncing, 'Leaving Neverland', a documentary film featuring accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck that premiered last week at the Sundance Film Festival and is set to air in the spring on HBO and the U.K.'s Channel 4.

"Michael always turned the other cheek, and we have always turned the other cheek when people have gone after members of our family — that is the Jackson way," the statement said. "But we can't just stand by while this public lynching goes on.... Michael is not here to defend himself, otherwise these allegations would not have been made."

The family points out that Jackson was subjected to a thorough investigation which included a surprise raid of his home, the Neverland Ranch, but was still acquitted at his criminal trial in 2005, in a case involving another young man.

Robson testified at that trial, saying he had slept in Jackson's room many times, but that Jackson had never molested him. Safechuck made similar statements to investigators as a boy. Jackson died in 2009. Both men filed lawsuits in 2013 saying stress and trauma had forced them to face the truth and admit they were sexually abused. The suits have been thrown out on technical grounds but are under appeal.

The Jackson statement calls the men "perjurers" because of this reversal, saying the family is "furious" that media outlets without evidence have chosen "to believe the word of two admitted liars over the word of hundreds of families and friends around the world who spent time with Michael."

The film's director Dan Reed has said he has no doubts about the men's validity. The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they come forward publicly, which Robson and Safechuck have done on multiple occasions.

The family insists that truth and evidence are on their side. "We are proud of what Michael Jackson stands for," the statement said.

Jackson family’s entire statement:

Michael Jackson is our brother and son. We are furious that the media, who without a shred of proof or single piece of physical evidence, chose to believe the word of two admitted liars over the word of hundreds of families and friends around the world who spent time with Michael, many at Neverland, and experienced his legendary kindness and global generosity. We are proud of what Michael Jackson stands for.

People have always loved to go after Michael. He was an easy target because he was unique. But Michael was subjected to a thorough investigation which included a surprise raid of Neverland and other properties as well as a jury trial where Michael was found to be COMPLETELY INNOCENT. There has never been one piece of proof of anything. Yet the media is eager to believe these lies.

Michael always turned the other cheek, and we have always turned the other cheek when people have gone after members of our family – that is the Jackson way. But we can’t just stand by while this public lynching goes on, and the vulture tweeters and others who never met Michael go after him. Michael is not here to defend himself, otherwise these allegations would not have been made.

The creators of this film were not interested in the truth. They never interviewed a single solitary soul who knew Michael except the two perjurers and their families. That is not journalism, and it’s not fair, yet the media are perpetuating these stories.

But the truth is on our side. Go do your research about these opportunists. The facts don’t lie, people do. Michael Jackson was and always will be 100% innocent of these false allegations.

Defense Lawyer Thomas Mesereau Is “Shocked” By Claims Made By Wade Robson. 26-01-'19

Thomas MesereauThis morning I spoke with Thomas Mesereau, Michael Jackson’s brilliant criminal defense lawyer in his 2005 child molestation and conspiracy trial. Michael was found not guilty on all counts.

The first witness Mesereau put on the stand in Jackson’s defense was Wade Robson, who now claims Jackson molested him when he was a child. In 2005, Robson, Mesereau says, was “adamant” that Jackson had never done anything wrong to him. Robson’s mother and sister also took the stand and said the same thing.

The Robsons flew in from Australia for the trial. They stayed at Neverland. Mesereau interviewed them extensively.

Mesereau told me: “I found Wade articulate and likeable. But he staunchly defended Michael. His mother and sister supported him in their statements. On the stand, Wade was then subjected to a withering prosecutor. I’m shocked that he’s taken a position contrary to what he told me, and what he testified to in court.”

Mesereau hasn’t seen the documentary 'Leaving Neverland' but he is very surprised. And this is a man who has examined and cross examined some of the toughest witnesses ever.

One important thing Mesereau agreed with me on. Santa Barbara District Attorney Tom Sneddon, now deceased, thoroughly investigated Jackson twice, over a 10 year period. He looked ceaselessly for young boys who might have been abused by Jackson. Sneddon was obsessed with tagging Jackson. It was Sneddon who slid his card on the door of the Arvizo family after he saw them on TV, and crafted an unsuccessful prosecution against Jackson using their crazy testimony.

Sneddon knew the names of Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck, the two men who claim in the documentary to have been molested. If Sneddon had thought there was any real story there, he’d have gone after it. He never did.

Meanwhile, Robson has started a not for profit foundation and is soliciting donations. There can be no transparency, as he’s parked his 501 c3 very cleverly under something called the Hawaii Community Foundation. That way, Robson doesn’t have to file a form 990. We’ll never know if the makers of 'Leaving Neverland' have donated money to it, for example. This was done on purpose. Leonardo DiCaprio does the same thing with his Foundation. It’s hidden.

Safechuck, meantime, is accused by Jackson fans of creating his story from a very disgusting book published years ago by a man named Victor Guitierrez. Jackson sued Guitierrez and won a $2.7 million judgement against. The writer has never paid up, and now lives in Chile. I threw my copy out a long time; I didn’t want it in my house.

'Leaving Neverland' can’t be taken seriously, and I’m surprised the press in Sundance– who didn’t cover Jackson — was so swayed by it. The movie offers no independent evidence, or third parties, just the claims of Robson and Safechuck. Just because it’s graphic, doesn’t mean it’s true. The rush to judgement here is alarming, and dangerous.

Michael Jackson's Estate Slams Abuse Documentary. 26-01-'19

The documentary 'Leaving Neverland' which includes detailed allegations by two men that Michael Jackson sexually molested them when they were boys.

A statement released by Jackson's estate late Friday (January 25) calls the men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, "two perjurers" - a reference to sworn statements the men gave when Jackson was alive that he had not abused them. The men leveled their abuse allegations after Jackson's death.

The pair's stories are the basis for 'Leaving Neverland', a four-hour documentary that will air later this year on HBO and Channel 4 in Britain. It earned a somber standing ovation after its premiere at Sundance on Friday (January 25).

The Estate accuses the film of focusing too much on Robson and Safechuck and ignoring others who spent significant time with Jackson and "stated that he treated children with respect and did nothing hurtful to them."

Michael Jackson accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck have been greeted with a solemn standing ovation by a theater full of people at the Sundance Film Festival.

Sundance Film FestivalSigns in support of Michael Jackson are seen outside of the premiere of the 'Leaving Neverland' Michael Jackson documentary film at the Egyptian Theatre on Main Street during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, in Park City, Utah.

The stories of the two men who allege Jackson sexually abused them as children are detailed in the documentary 'Leaving Neverland', which had its only screening Friday at the film festival.

In a Q&A, Robson said it has been an incredible experience being able to talk to Safechuck after feeling isolated for so long. Safechuck added that they were not offered any money to participate in the documentary, which will air on Britain's Channel 4 and HBO this spring.

The Jackson Estate denounced the documentary for rehashing "discredited allegations." Jackson was acquitted of molestation charges in 2005.

Michael Jackson Estate Addresses Controversial ‘Leaving Neverland’ Doc. 26-01-'19

The Estate Of Michael Jackson
The Estate Of Michael Jackson

The Michael Jackson estate has issued a statement on the film 'Leaving Neverland', which premiered at Sundance on Friday morning (Jan. 25). The documentary was screened at Park City, Utah’s Egyptian Theater. The Estate issued its statement about 12 hours after the film debuted, taking issue with what it calls “the kind of tabloid character assassination Michael Jackson endured in life, and now in death.”

Dan Reed’s film follows two accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, as they describe intense and graphic acts they say Jackson committed against them, as well those they say the pop icon coached them to commit on him. Robson met Jackson through a dance competition at age 5, and alleges the sexual abuse began when he was 7. Safechuck was cast in a Pepsi commercial starring Jackson around age 8, and the alleged abuse began after months of close friendship.

Read the Estate’s statement in its entirety below:
'Leaving Neverland' isn’t a documentary, it is the kind of tabloid character assassination Michael Jackson endured in life, and now in death. The film takes uncorroborated allegations that supposedly happened 20 years ago and treats them as fact. These claims were the basis of lawsuits filed by these two admitted liars which were ultimately dismissed by a judge. The two accusers testified under oath that these events never occurred. They have provided no independent evidence and absolutely no proof in support of their accusations, which means the entire film hinges solely on the word of two perjurers.

Tellingly, the director admitted at the Sundance Film Festival that he limited his interviews only to these accusers and their families. In doing so, he intentionally avoided interviewing numerous people over the years who spent significant time with Michael Jackson and have unambiguously stated that he treated children with respect and did nothing hurtful to them. By choosing not to include any of these independent voices who might challenge the narrative that he was determined to sell, the director neglected fact checking so he could craft a narrative so blatantly one-sided that viewers never get anything close to a balanced portrait.

For 20 years, Wade Robson denied in court and in numerous interviews, including after Michael passed, that he was a victim and stated he was grateful for everything Michael had done for him. His family benefitted from Michael’s kindness, generosity and career support up until Michael’s death. Conveniently left out of Leaving Neverland was the fact that when Robson was denied a role in a Michael Jackson themed Cirque du Soleil production, his assault allegations suddenly emerged.

We are extremely sympathetic to any legitimate victim of child abuse. This film, however, does those victims a disservice. Because despite all the disingenuous denials made that this is not about money, it has always been about money – millions of dollars — dating back to 2013 when both Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who share the same law firm, launched their unsuccessful claims against Michael’s Estate. Now that Michael is no longer here to defend himself, Robson, Safechuck and their lawyers continue their efforts to achieve notoriety and a payday by smearing him with the same allegations a jury found him innocent of when he was alive.

Live At The Lyric Theatre: A Energetic Celebration Of The Music Of Michael Jackson. 25-01-'19

Thriller LiveAnthony Walker-Cook reviews this anniversary performance of 'Thriller Live', a concert show that celebrates the life of Michael Jackson.

Music can inspire and bring people together, but it takes a degree of confidence for a show on the West End to not adopt a plot to tie together individual songs. The past ten years have seen a monumental series of jukebox musicals, some successful and some not. Of the former, examples include: Jersey Boys about Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons, Beautiful takes the music of Carol King, and night after night audiences at Mamma Mia dance in the aisles to some of ABBA’s greatest songs. Yet alongside these shows has also sat 'Thriller Live', which now enters its tenth year and celebrates the life, music and soul of Michael Jackson.

First organised by Adrian Grant, 'Thriller Live' is unapologetic in its simplicity. Across two and a half hours a group of talented singers and dancers take audiences through a number of Jackson’s biggest hits. Director and choreographer Gary Lloyd does a fine job and his cast work through a commendable thirty-eight songs during the evening. Naturally it is impossible to have a plot stich that many songs together, and so audiences are rightly presented with Jackson’s success over the years, beginning when he was eleven when he was part of the Jackson 5.

From 'Thriller Live' it is hard, probably almost impossible, to not be impressed and awed at Jackson’s continued success. It is also paramount to realise how much Jackson’s music and signature dance moves have entered into our mental jukeboxes: I do not profess to be a massive Jackson fan but was surprised at how many songs of the thirty-eight I could sing along to. And sing I did: the entire company’s impressive energy maintaining the audience’s reaction deserves special praise.

Yet one problem with the show is its use of mime. It is unsurprising given the physical demands of the dancing that mime is used, but it becomes so obvious that at points one cannot help but wonder where else it might be used. Also rather bizarre and incongruous were the low-energy emergences of the guitarists onto the stage. When surrounded by such hard-working performers it was disappointing to see such a lack of showmanship, though no doubt they were concentrating on playing the instruments properly.

For these failings, however, 'Thriller Live' offers spectacle upon spectacle, with Nigel Catmur’s lighting worthy especially of praise. The special tenth anniversary performance saw cast members from previous years enter the stage for ‘Earth Song’, joining singers Wayne Anthony-Cole, Vivienne Ekwulugo, Haydon Eshun and David Julien. Among these returning ‘Smooth Criminals’ included Ben Forster and Layton Williams.

In terms of West End shows, 'Thriller Live' lacks a plot, to which some people might say ‘Beat It’, but it is instead a celebration of the life of Jackson. It is impossible not to feel the warmth in the room listening to the songs that defined the genres of pop and soul. The issue is not just ‘Black Or White’, but seeing this concert show is easily an recommended experience for any fan of Michael Jackson, or, as he was known to some, the ‘Man In The Mirror’.

MJ 2020 Broadway ShowMichael Jackson Musical: 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough'. 23-01-'19

The brand new Michael Jackson musical titled 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' will premiere in Chicago in the fall 2019!

The Estate has announced via social media's that the musical will includes over 25 Michael Jackson songs and will begin pre-Broadway performances at Chicago’s Nederlander Theatre on Oct. 29 and run through Dec. 1.

The show, scored with Michael Jackson’s music and likely to attract global attention, is produced by the Michael Jackson estate in collaboration with Columbia Live Stage. The book is by the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and the direction and original choreography is by Christopher Wheeldon, the former choreographer for the New York City Ballet who received critical acclaim on Broadway for his work on 'An American In Paris'.

“This is not a Cirque du Soleil show, nor a tribute show, nor a hagiography,” said Nottage in an interview Tuesday (January 22), referencing two prior Cirque treatments of the Jackson oeuvre. “We are endeavoring to tell the story of one moment in the life of a very complicated man whose life was very fraught.”

That moment surrounds the making of the 'Dangerous World Tour', a 17-month live endeavor that traveled by 747, raised money for Jackson’s Heal the World charity and played to some from 3.5 million people in 70 stadium gigs from Bucharest to Bangkok in 1992 and 1993. It featured video technology far ahead of its time and included some $2 million worth of costumes for its star.

'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' is the new musical that celebrates the artistry of Michael Jackson, featuring a book by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage (Sweat, Ruined) and directed and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Christopher Wheeldon (An American In Paris).

The show takes audiences behind the scenes as Michael prepares for the 1992 Dangerous Tour, providing an in-depth look at his process. As Michael and his collaborators rehearse their epic setlist, we are transported to pivotal creative moments from his career.

Featuring over 25 of Michael Jackson’s biggest hits, 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' combines the singular talent of a cultural icon with the powerful storytelling of contemporary theatre.

All patrons, regardless of age, must have a paid ticket for admission. 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' is recommended for ages 8+.

One of Michael Jackson's nephews, Taj Jackson, has started a GoFundMe to produce a docuseries to clear his uncle's name.

This comes as a new documentary, 'Leaving Neverland', will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. It will center on the sexual abuse claims surrounding Jackson and the stories of his accusers. The documentary will air on HBO after its Sundance debut.

Taj Jackson wants to create a docuseries that he says "will conclusively destroy decades of salacious myths which have been told and sold about Michael Jackson ad nauseam. In doing so, we will shine a light on the corruption within the media and entertainment industries which conceived and perpetuated them."

The GoFundMe reads, "Years after he was killed by his doctor, two men who had resolutely defended Michael's innocence in life, tried and failed, to win financial settlements from his posthumous estate. After having their bogus abuse allegations (undermined by a wealth of evidence demonstrating the contrary) dismissed by the court, they have now turned to HBO, the UK's Channel 4 and the Sundance Film Festival. These three reputable organizations have sadly compromised their Brand’s integrity by announcing they will provide a platform for a 'documentary', through which these two accusers - who have accrued large legal debts to the estate they tried and failed to extort - are still seeking to profit from their already discredited stories. Michael Jackson died an innocent, vindicated man. The world needs to understand this most important and basic fact. The world also needs to understand the damage that is done to legitimate victims of abuse when self-confessed liars are not only allowed to profit from false allegations, but are given a platform to pontificate their fraudulent claims."

As of Tuesday morning, the GoFundMe had raised $15,793 of its $777,000 goal.

MJ 2020 Broadway Show Update. 22-01-'19

On January 18, the below artwork went up in New York City. The same image is also appearing on the homepage of three Broadway related websites today. While there’s no additional information to accompany it, it does link to a website landing page with the artwork and the opportunity to sign up for updates related to the project it represents.

The Estate have confirmed today that the artwork, as per speculation over the last few days, is the key art for the Michael Jackson Broadway musical coming in 2020 and they want the fans to be the first to know!

Tomorrow, there will be an announcement formally revealing the art along with the title of the show (which is the title of one of Michael’s songs), and one other piece of information. The information will be revealed on michaeljackson.com and social media.

MJ 2020 Broadway ShowA billboard for the planned Michael Jackson musical is already up on 44th Street in New York’s theater district.

These announcements could not come at a better time as they remind the public who Michael Jackson really is, rather than these sordid allegations coming from the forthcoming documentary. The Broadway show is yet another opportunity to reach new audiences and provide both the public and Michael’s longtime fans with an opportunity to experience his music in a unique and entertaining way.

Michael’s legacy is eternal, and no one can diminish it. Together let’s redirect the messaging back to where it should be and focus on the music that Michael gifted the world, and focus on the art.

Paris Jackson: Breaking Down Over New Michael Jackson Documentary? 21-01-'19

Paris JacksonMichael's only daughter, Paris Jackson, checked into rehab citing mental health issues as the cause.

The situation is being handled with the utmost care, as the 20-year-old's emotional breakdowns have taken her to some very dark places in the past.

In 2013, Paris attempted suicide and has fallen into several frightening downward spirals in the years since.

So naturally, there's profound concern among the Jacksons regarding how Paris will cope with the revelations contained in 'Leaving Neverland'.

“The family is absolutely horrified by this, especially during a time when Paris is so fragile,” a source tells Radar Online.

Part of the problem, it seems, is that while Paris has always publicly defended her father, privately, she's long harbored doubts about his innocence.

“Paris is so vocal about this, but it is so painful for her because she remembers her father hanging out with young boys," the insider says.

"She always thought it was strange, which is why this really hits her hard."

Despite her misgivings, however, those closest to Paris say she's consistently been able to suppress her doubts and argue in favor of her father's innocence.

“She believes her father never did these things and doesn’t understand why they keep trying to bring this back,” the source claims.

As for how her family will handle the fallout from the documentary, it seems that for the time being at least, they've decided the best option is simply to keep Paris in the dark.

“They won’t even let her see it," says the source.

"This is something that could send her to the grave."

Our thoughts go out to everyone who will be forced to confront new truths or painful memories when the film makes its debut.

Paris Jackson would like everyone to remember an old adage:

Don't believe everything you read.

Especially not when it comes to the personal life of someone you've never met.
